I feel it is mostly because of his technique and aggressive style of play.... no grinder could do what he is doing. His technique is so ideal that it puts less strain on his joints and body overall. The torn meniscus was not even tennis related. He will likely play at a high level until 40.

If I played tennis to make a living it would be different, but I play only for fun, fitness and relaxation. It is much more fun to red-line your game and sometimes you get into the zone and are unbeatable. I play for those (rare) days on the court.

I find hard to care about winning or losing at my club, especially cause many of the players who play competitively push the ball around a lot. They win by attrition. It's boring and lame to play them. My only focus is self-improvement. I always red-line my game and don't care if I win or lose...

Great job by Ram, but you gotta feel for the guy. His style would have worked much better in the 90s. Slowing the courts down really screwed the guys like him. I bet he is kinda bitter about it.

Elbow seems fine it is just my AC joint that hurts for some reason. Should I string the softer poly a little tighter than the tour bite? Perhaps 53 or 54 lbs instead of 51 or 52 like I usually do? I need poly cause I swing pretty hard and have well developed strokes.
