    Wilson x RF Aug 8, 2024

Yeah I usually customize my racquets to around 340sw so the rf01 pro felt a bit light but still wouldn’t change the feel. I’m still using my old ig radical mp ala Fritz, schwartzman, zhang. Still haven’t found something that has its combo of feel, control, power

Reviews of the new Radical MP 18x20

I played with the new 18x20 radical and thought it was just ok. The youtek IG is still way better in my opinion. Can’t match the feel of it. Performance was decent and it had a bit more power and spin but not much.

    Wilson x RF Aug 8, 2024

I tried the rf 01 Pro and hated it. It felt really stiff and hollow like a babolat pure drive. Power and spin are good and overall performance but feel is not for me.

    New Technifibre T-Fight 2025

The old dynacore xtc that Medvedev still uses is way better than the new stuff imo. Feels more solid and has better control, power

Anybody Still use Pro Staff 85?

I have both but haven’t used in a while. The prestige has a slightly bigger head but is much more forgiving because of its teardrop head shape. The ps85 sweet spot is tiny but the feel, control is amazing and it has good pop if you center it. And because both have tiny heads and thin beams they...

What’s a more giving IG Radical MP?

I didn’t like the gravity pro either. The head shape and feel was too weird to me. Blade v9 was ok but felt too muted and the 18x20 felt anemic. However had good pop on serves as do most blades. The older k blade and v5 and before are great but don’t have the control and feel the ig radical has.

Reviews of the new Radical MP 18x20

I just ordered a demo from the other site and will write up my review next week. Will have to stick some lead tape to make it comparable to my 345sw youtek ig radical.

Reviews of the new Radical MP 18x20

I want to know too. I still use the old Youtek IG Radical that Fritz, schwartzman, zhang use and haven’t been able to find something that offers the same combination of power, control, comfort.

    Wilson Six.One 95 18x20 (331-332g ish)

I grew up using the classic 6.1 which wrecked my shoulder in college. I tried all of the other ones and liked Ncode the best because it was softer. K6.1 was too stiff for me and aggravated my shoulder

    Modern K-Factor 90 (but a 98)?

I’d say the blade pro or h22 would be close to a k90 in a 98 head.

    Wilson x RF Aug 8, 2024

If you add lead tape to the prestige pro at 3 and 9 to make it swing around 340, it has more power than the six one.

You’re basically describing the Prestige Pro

    Did Wilson peak with nCode?

Ncode 6.1 was nice but k blade was the best blade.

How to get maximum power from 18x20 racquet?

I find that on dense string patterns, they need mass to optimize the performance and feel. I usually add lots of lead to get to 340-350sw and around 340g. Open string patterns you can get away with lighter stiffer frames and rely on racquet head speed.

    Thoughts on Wilson K Factor?

I have a k6.1 95 18x20 for sale in 3/8 grip. Like the others said it’s a great racquet but stiff!

PT630 Made in Austria sweet spot - can a frame go "bad"?

I find that on the older originals the strings go dead on them quicker for some reason compared to the pt2.0. They feel fine and crisp for a few hours and then the strings and frame feel mushy and can’t play with it anymore unless I restring.

Andy Roddick has switched to the Shift

Not true at all. H19 and h22 are rarely used nowadays by the pros. Like I mentioned above, most Wilson touring pros on the men side use the pro stock blade and most women pros use the steam 100.

Andy Roddick has switched to the Shift

Not a fan of any of the new Wilson racquets. Their pros mostly still use the k blade 98 on the men’s side and steam 100 on the women’s.

Is New Pure Aero 98 worth the upgrade from PAVS?

I too liked the Pavs much more than the 98. The 98 felt too muted and didn’t have the lively pop like the PAVS.

    ON (The Roger) tennis shoes

Looks like they’re still really wide in the forefoot so won’t fit my feet

Anyone who uses Wilson K-Blade 98?

I have one and added lead at 3 and 9 as well and it plays great! Way better than any of the blades after v5 which is my favorite. The k blade does feel a bit firmer than the v5 but I like the raw feel.

Do any good polys last 30+ hours

I find Kirschbaum strings are some of the best at maintaining playability for a really long time. I had some pro line x in a racquet for over a year and it still played and felt great. I’m surprised the guy above said rpm which I find plays like crap after a few hours and gets harsh.

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

Wow thanks I’m definitely not going to get a v9 now. I thought the v8 version was awful, so muted and no power at all. I put a lot of lead tape on it to improve the pop but it was still so anemic even compared to my old prestige racquets. Blades have gone downhill since v5 in my opinion.

Rumour - Remake Head Prestige Classic (PT10)

Me too, I dusted it off and hit with my original Prestige Classic 600 and it still has that awesome feel. Don’t need to order the pc2.0 and don’t want to pay like $300 after taxes for one. My main racquet that I compete with is the pt2.0 and the prestige classic is definitely less forgiving and...

Wilson Ncode 6.1 95 332g unstrung string recommendation

I still have one that I use once in a while. It’s a classic for sure and the best six one in my opinion. It has a lower stiffness compared to other 6.1s and is very comfortable and plays great stock. It absorbs heavy pace and has a good power and control combination. The small head and smaller...

The Best Frame I've Ever Hit With. Better Than My Pro Stocks, PS85's, PT630's, RF97's, K90's

I remember that racquet when I briefly tried it back in college some 20 years ago. I was using a Head Prestige Tour 300 back then and when I tried the Rok, I absolutely hated it. Feel was decent but the head was so flexible that it felt unstable and I couldn’t control hard shots. It felt really...
