Gravity Pro 2023 vs HEAD CLASSIC MID PLUS MP 102 18X19 TOUR SERIES

Wonder if anyone played with both and offer some comparison. How is swingweight consistency between Gravity Pros? Mine two Head Classics had 15g difference between them....

    Volkl catapult 10

Cat 10 is my fall back to racket when TE flares up. Beautiful racket in that regard even with poly in it. Top spin comes easy and great control of top spin shots. Flat hitters stay away, it will not work for you. I use it leaded up at 10/2 and leather grip, comes as 350 strung

Long term TE battlers - equipment history and choice

I have nearly brand new Kinetic 5g Pro, it's a very decent racket, good power, control, spin, stability... yes, awesome racket, but it didn't work for me a arm friendly option. I needed to put all multi in it and lead it up so it wouldn't hurt my arm. I just do not understand how such a stiff...

Long term TE battlers - equipment history and choice

Sorry, gents, it's not about what is causing TE or technique vs equipment, etc. I see there are tons of those discussions around. But I hoped to gather some factual info on what the real people with real TE issues ended up using and see how it correlates to what is touted as arm friendly...

Long term TE battlers - equipment history and choice

Yes, it's another TE thread... but I hope to keep it a very narrow scope please if we can If you are battling TE issues, on and off, for over 2 years +, what was your equipment history and what you have settled with now. Just giving mine Wilson Hammer, Wilson Triad..... TE, TE, TE.... Head...

    ProKennex Kinetic 5G Classic

I wanted to like it so much when I bought Kinetic Pro 5G... might be 10 years ago now, but it didn't work for my TE. It is very stiff racket to my liking and they possibly forgot to put that sand into mine as I barely hear it when I shake the racket... Been playing last 10 years with Babolat...

    What's up with Bublik?

New racket last year and new coach this year.... and maybe he eventually started enjoying tennis? (That's the guy that once said that if there wouldn't be any money in it he wouldn't touch tennis racket)

    What's up with Bublik?

I have watched Bublik on grass recently... very impressive. I must say I have seen him here and there before and there was nothing special about him. But as recently I cannot recognise him anymore. He plays differently. It looks like he's got new racket, but also his style has changed. It looks...

Anyone use Ashaway MonoGut ZX ?

Can't believe folks are still experimenting with this excrement... Zyex whatever It's made of fun material all right.... very stretchy when you pull slowly when installing, but behaves like a steel wire in the racket. Dangerous for tendons, particularly as you are duped into believing it's soft...

Five reasons why Novak Djokovic is tennis GOAT

Something doesn't feel right about Joker as being a GOAT now.... After 5 more Slams?... But isn't it ridiculous to talk about Slams like that? 5 more Slams.... One Slam could life time achievement for so many.... so many don't even come close but still well known and respected players... Joker...

Why are players of Slav origin doing so well in tennis?

And BTW, Shapovalov is Slav, may be of Jewish faith, maybe not, who knows.

Why are players of Slav origin doing so well in tennis?

It's just an appearance that Slavs are doing better than others in tennis. Europeans in general are doing well in tennis and half of Europe is Slavic. That half has been behind the wall and now after the wall fell they are here, that is all. Not more, not less. Can we say that Spain is not doing...

Crosses - soft feel but resistant to grind

I had played two doubles matches in the inter towns tournament - nothing checks the string as the actual competitive play. Here is more feedback. Pros: Performance wise - the string performed wonderfully. SPIN - one of spinniest setups I ever had. POWER - great power. Control is due to spin...

Crosses - soft feel but resistant to grind

Yes, it is ZX. These are my initial impressions, waiting on my second hit to firm on opinions. But for now: ZX only seemingly soft. It's stretches unreal when being strung, when slowly being stretched. The string bed is very bouncy and it seems soft when you bounce a ball on the racket. But when...

Crosses - soft feel but resistant to grind

Yes I love Alpha Gut 2000 as a cross I would say it's even better than Gosen Sheep Micro If I have time to string I would use it exclusively, but I do not get much playing time with it, just measly 5-6 hours I just grind it away until it breaks.

Crosses - soft feel but resistant to grind

First impression after hitting with the full bed of Monogut ZX for two hours. Racket is Babolat Pure Control, 352 gramms strung. Monogut ZX full string bed, mains 50 lbs, crosses 47 lbs. It feels stiffer than my normal setup, way stiffer. It's got same power than my normal setup, but with more...

What exercises to complement tennis for weight loss?

I think it's called "military diet" or "ice cream diet". Congratulation on inventing it

What exercises to complement tennis for weight loss?

The only thing that can compliment 3-4 weekly tennis for success in weight loss is diet. Exercise alone will not do it. As a matter of fact it's not even 50/50 It's mostly diet and a bit of exercise to keep your metabolism up.

Plantar Fasciitis and the split step

I am not convinced you can single out split step as a cause. It most likely is just a one out of many factors associated with tennis. You've got to look what the true change was. Lots of things can cause PF, e.g. change in activity, sudden increase in intensity, injury, surface you spend most...

Stomach acid - what's the deal with it

Reading again about OP problem, I kinda think that there could be more done by paying attention to the foods you eat. Sometimes you've got to acceptthat you sit a bit off normal and you've got to manage that. PPI might not be a good solution here. I would find a good nutritionist.

Stomach acid - what's the deal with it

Yeah, sounds complex. Best to follow doctor's advice. I've heard even food allergies could manifest themselves this way. PPI are excellent to manage GERD. Unmanaged, it can lead to oesophagus cancer or to that intermediate condition with name I can't recall. When you diagnosed with that you just...

Stomach acid - what's the deal with it

How is that an infection (heliobacter pylori) when 50% of people have it without any negative side effects? They treat it with massive doses of antibiotics that virtually eliminates anything alive in there.

    Plantar Fasciitis Release Surgery

BTW, I had to substitute some activities with new ones. I gave up running and soccer, instead I am biking and kayaking. I did try basketball, but it just kills my feet. Surprisingly, I have managed to retain tennis. I have given it up for two years, but then as my condition became chronic I have...

For me, Fed has surpassed Jordan, Brady and Gretzky

Good question... how do you compare. Maybe take 10 best athletes in each sport and compare the best to the weighted average of the best 10. The further the distance the more GOAT he/she would be. But there is no such comparison, and there are fat sports where fat guys could succeed. So it's just...
