In case anyone else was stringing up their functional saber with scraps/leftovers… Was able hand string it with a spare 15ft of string. Probably could have even used 14ft… but would really have stingy on the ends, maybe even use pliers to tighten/hold/etc,… 1 piece

    I never sit on change-overs.

I used to not sit during changeovers (unless hot)… but nowadays I force myself to sit for at least 60 sec to take a sip (whereas before I’d drink only when thirsty, which is too late), and to think reflect on the last 2 games and think about what I’m doing well to him and what he’s doing well...

    I never sit on change-overs.

Hehe I do that all the time when playing stallers …. Didn’t know it was against the rules… on the flip side, stallers IMO are breaking the rules, so it’s a wash :p

    Chest Up On The Serve?

to me, chest up is a cue, and def helps but other elements more important (eg. like shoulder tilt)... if i asked you throw a football straight up in the air as high as possible from standing... you will naturally tilt, bend knees, open chest, etc..

    How to volley

i've never been a fan of practicing volleying against a ball machine (and the setting you have is exceptionally easy... like i only get that type of shot once or twice a match), mainly because it's impossible to get the split step timing right... i usually only practice with a partner... but...

neos 1000 vs klippermate - observations

was amused to see a club still using a neos1000 (setup in the middle of their floor), but a large electric stringer (white or silver colored... very fancy looking) was tucked away in the corner - collecting dust)... asked the pros why they don't use the fancy looking one, "the neos is way...
