Respectfully disagree. Rafa does need matchplay but he doesn't need unnecessary stretching of matches at his age and experience with injuries. He was up 5-2 in the 3rd set and got broken twice before he was able to still win 7-5.

A tough quarter-final match this one. Rafa prevailed in 3 sets. A lot of breaks-of-serves between both players. Rafa's fighting spirit was on display. There is still some room for improvement but Rafa won and is on to the semis. Vamos :love:
