Wow! Glad I got 2 backups when I bought my frames last year. (Not selling them, don't ask). I had to wait a month I think after receiving my racquet for the grommets to arrive and that was last summer. They were hard to get then, I imagine they're nearly impossible now.

Good to know. I demoed the 100T and was disappointed with its tinny feel. That could have been due to its light weight. I'm hoping. After reading reviews I'm optimistic about the 100P but I'm hesitant to expect anything to feel as good as the Graphite 100.

I agree. I held off demoing the 100P specifically because of the 18x20 pattern. But all the talk says that it's a more open pattern than you'd expect and is still quite spin friendly. It's now on my to-demo list. Eager to see how it compares to the PCG100. I have a feeling it's going to feel...

The only difference would be the weight and balance. Both the LB and 27" have the same weight, so sawing off an inch would effectively just give you a lighter PCG100. If that's what you want go for it but despite the increase in maneuverability you'll get, you'll lose power and that's not a good...

I agree. My backhand has never been very good so I'm often hesitant to hit a topspin backhand in a match when I'm much more consistent with my slice. But with the TC95 I'm swinging out and hitting much more consistent backhands. To the point that I'm having more fun hitting them than my slice.

I have a TC95 and I have a similar experience, my shots being very accurate and consistent with soft volleys. But I don't have raw put away power. Still if I move my opponent I can hit the corners and force him to stretch.

I wear the Asics Gel Resolutions and they're very comfy. I play on hard court and have had foot issues for years. Best shoes I've tried so far. I always put orthotics in my shoes but the stock insoles in the Resolutions work great.

I worry sometimes that many of us (myself included) sound a bit too much like Angell fanboys. But when so many people have tried them only to discover just how great they feel and perform, I realize we're not blind fanboys, just users of a truly great line of racquets.

From what I've read the Prince Textreme Warrior 100 would fit the bill as a softer APD alternative. All the power and spin you need without the stiff feeling and arm pain. Plus plenty of touch and control.

I'm just going to demo these. Not to buy, just for fun. Hmm...I like playing with this one. Maybe I'll just get this one. Just for days where I need a little extra power. Yea....

No idea but I'd love to know. Since the specs are already custom I'm wondering if it's a special paint job for sponsored tour players. Wonder if Paul could shed some light on this.

Getting the right box is easy. Buy a new racquet from TW and then just reuse the box your brand new stick came in.

Is the swing weight of a comparably specced TC97 higher than that of a TC95?

I've got 2 Prince Graphite 100s, an EXO Tour 100 16x18, and a Warrior 100 (ported). Looking to add a Textreme 100P at some point.

I had a feeling. I got my TC95 before the TC97 was released. But when I was going back n' forth with my sticks I kept thinking about the difference in beam shape and how the TC97 has the same box beam as my beloved Prince.

For those who have experience with them, which Angell is more similar in feel to the Prince Graphite 100, TC95 or TC97? I have the TC95 and the Graphite 100 and I was going back and forth with them on the court comparing the feel. While I play better with the TC95, I miss the satisfying thump...

I agree. It's an all-around racquet that a lot of players can use. It's not a scalpel or a heavy players racquet or an OS tweener without touch or control. It's something everyone can use.

Just an FYI: The TC97 is only available in 16x19 and 66RA.

Was using the 16x18 Prince Graphite 100 with great success, switched to 16x19 95sq" head without much trouble. Can't stand tight 18x20 patterns.
