My only story about this FXP Radical MP is that I had to restring it due to dead Topspin Cyberflash strings on it. I restrung it with MSV Evo Focus 1.10mm mains and YTEX Pentapower 1.25mm crosseses.

If you buy in a reel Topspin Cyberflash is really cheap :) I have a reel of 1.20 or 1.25mm :)

Played a few minutes with it, seems that it needs more weight or I just need to swing faster in order for the baseline shots to go somewhere. Any rules on stringing/restringing this FXP Radical?

Got it in my hands. Very nice classic radical. Can't wait to play with it this weekend. Will add a rubberband dampener though.

Best one for me was/is the Signum Pro Poly Plasma. With KLIP mains they lasted for me about 40+ hours and I am a semi spin player.

Favorite is the Head calfskin followed by the TW leather grips.

1.1mm or 1.2mm fishing line is great for a really soft crosses ;)

Customizable layup and/or stiffness ratings would be great. I would love to have a PT layup to all Head racquets ;)

For me I like both. Round poly is good for the crosses with rough/shaped poly for the mains :)

I really like this string in 17g in the mains with a smooth poly crosses.

Nice ressurection of an over 10 year old thread. I string nylon mains and poly crosses for my customers with big light oversize racquets and they like the strings with no complaints.

I played all three versions and I can say that the 2019/2021 has a crisper feel than the 2023. 2023 has a muted buttery feel to it where as the 2019/2021 I can feel the ball a little bit more. Again this is from my personal experience, others might have a different opinion on the feel/power/etc.

You won't be dissapointed for sure. The trajectory is a little flatter than full poly and a lot more power than full poly also. Might have to adjust a little if you are not used to it.

Keep the syn gut in the mains and put some smooth poly in the crosses ;)

I have tried Klip Natural Gut 16 mains and Signum Pro Plasma 16L crosses at 55# and they felt great all the way until the gut broke at a knot, probably the stringer's (myself) fault ;)
