    Wozniacki vs Serena Semi-Final

World's #1 Loser! Wozniacki has simply been a slot holder for the number one spot, worlds "#1" could not take a set from worlds "#28" in a grandslam semi- final. She has no business having #1 next to her name.

    Wozniacki imitates Nadal.

Obviously Caro forgot about this, far worst than Nadals unfortunate cramping incident. Caro's entire body transforms. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAzYMhq2k-U

Who would you like to see in the Women's final?

At this point I would like to see a Williams v. Zvonareva final, two of my favorite WTA players.

What's Wozniacki's record vs the top 20 in the last year?

I called last nights match too soon. I must say that I'm impressed with Caro's performance. With that being said, Svetlana totally choked, the match was on her racquet. Side note: no matter what the Caro fans say, Grand Slams are the only thing that matter in the career of a tennis player...

What's Wozniacki's record vs the top 20 in the last year?

I totally agree with you...she should not be number one and the ranking system should be changed. Kuznetsova is giving her a beating right now. Goodbye Caroline!

    Fish vs. Tsonga

I like both players but I would have to give Tsonga the edge.

WTA Rankings -- Why They Work

Winning a bunch of pointless tournys does not amount to anything. Its like the year the Patriots went 18-0 in the regular season only to lose the Super Bowl. That perfect regular season record means nothing if you can win the big game. So if the world number one can't peak for the Slams her...

WTA Rankings -- Why They Work

Even retired players like Davenport, Navratilova, and Evert mock the ranking system on air. Your attempts to justify the ranking system is futile my friend.

    Serena Withdraws from Cincinnati

No if you ask top ranked players what matters the most I sure winning Wimbledon, the French Open, Australian Open, and US Open are top of the list. No tennis players legacy will ever be written based on how well they played in Davis/Fed cup or how many weeks they were number one I'd they don't...

    Serena Withdraws from Cincinnati

I don't have a perfect ranking system, but I would definitely place much more wait on Slam winners points wise. And more pressure should be placed on the current number one when they don't perform well in majors (significant point reductions) . Slams are the only things that matter in individual...

    Serena Withdraws from Cincinnati

No Caro game makes her not the number one player, losing to Mchale only reinforces the point. But you can continue to defend your Paper Tiger.

    Serena Withdraws from Cincinnati

I think that's the point I'm making..the Ranking system is flawed. But my broader point was that the rankings don't matter, we know that at this point in time Serena is the best in the women's game. There is no way that a player who loses the first round of two consecutive tournaments should...

    Serena Withdraws from Cincinnati

Slams are the only thing that matter in a players career. When a tennis player career ends Slams are what they are judged on. And if I'm not mistaken Serena has been out most of the last twelve months. And Caroline has never won a slam and probably never will.

    Serena Withdraws from Cincinnati

I know this because she has killed all the top seeded players in her last two tournaments. And Caroline is clearly not the number one player in the world, did she lose to Christina McHale?

    Serena Withdraws from Cincinnati

Another Serena hate thread, who cares why she withdrew. If she plays the US Open she will still win. The real news of the day is why has Caroline "world's #1" Wozniacki been knocked out in the first round of two consecutive tournaments?

I just realized Serena has 13 grand slams

I see Serena, finishing her career with 17 or 18 GS. Better than anyone in her era. But even if she does not win another she still has a better career than Henin, Cjlisters, Hingis, Venus, Mauresmo or Pierce.

Serena Looking Good. Will win USopen 2011

Sharapova intimidates none of the women in the upper echelon of the wta. I would be more intimidated by a 13 time GS winner than a 3 time GS winner.

Serena Looking Good. Will win USopen 2011

I agree Kvitova v. Serena would be interesting, but I think Serena would win. Serena still has that intimidation factor, like Tyson, Jordan, and Tiger in the prime of their careers. That gives her a slight edge before she even steps on the court.

Serena Looking Good. Will win USopen 2011

Serena is the best player in women's game right now. Who is better? You must give credit where credit is due. Some people don't know the meaning of being "OBJECTIVE". In most sports greatness is measured by how many championships or majors you have under your belt, so in her era Serena is the...
