How do you know if your rating has stayed the same or just hasn't been updated yet? I was a self rated 2.5 and there is not a letter next to the rating (c or b or s?). It still just says 2.5 and then appeal rating next to it?

Thanks, just curious. Looks like quite a few of the matches we played were against computer rated players, so they must have played 2.5 prior to the 2011 season to get a computer rating and are not all complete newbies like my team.

So how does the computer calculate a rating if most of your matches are against other 2.5 self rated players?
