Has any player the size of Wawrinka been this effective?

I love how a guy like Wawrinka perplexes people. Guy has a great build for tennis. Look at that nudie of him. Great feet, great ankle, calves, thighs, butt, all you want for power and compression... Upper body? He has leaned down to as low as he can, he is pretty svelte, but you can pretty...

Novak Djokovic: "I lost my love for tennis sometime after Paris"

I am so much luckier than Djokovic, I don't have to play a washed up dude crawling in from the qualies, or an exempt from the host country. I step right over that, to do what I do, but its still boring. Djokovic might have to sink to number six to get interested again, he seems really past...

Novak Djokovic: "I lost my love for tennis sometime after Paris"

Anything, gets boring day in, week in, month in. Even playing world class tennis. I am the best in the world at what I do, and even though I make a LOT more than Djokovic, I get it, its boring, week in, week out. Being the best in the world is boring, same as being the worst in the world...

Is Stanimal greater than Andy Murray ?

Nothing has changed really, but Tennis Warehouse threads and posts sure have. All of Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Wawrinka. Murray and now Delpotro are generational players. All playing in and around the same time line. Some are on their last legs of course like Nadal appears to be... Grands...

    URGENT MESSAGE FOR STANISLAS WAWRINKA

The match is on Stan's racquet I agree with that. If he get the cross court backhand out wide enough he will put Djokovic away. Two handers cannot handle Stan's best backhand days. ONly thing is, he has to produce it against one of the top two players not named Stan, in the world. Tough...

    Pliskova - Tennis robot?

Someone said not an interesting game on her though? I think she has a pretty cool game to watch. I wish she had realized sooner to drag Navritilova of 2016 around the court more in the first set, she would have steamrolled the german backboard in the third.

    URGENT MESSAGE FOR STANISLAS WAWRINKA

It all hinges on the Wawrinka backhand. If he gets that killer cross court backhand going coupled with accuracy down the line, no two hander, not even Djokovic can hang with it. But the margin here is not all that good, its why he can slump badly at times. But its all set up with that...

    Tired Of Mac's Yackin'...?

And to carry on, Wilander as well seems hugely excited to be around the sport as well. In his possible case, he might be excited about being paid for it as well. John I would imagine probably has done quite well with his money, strikes me as a guy who would be pretty good at protecting his...

    Mats Wilander vs Novak Djokovic

Watch the point around the 21:00 minute mark. This guy could have been top five in any era... Wilander. Killers speed, phenomenal backhand, above average everything else and the stamina of a nordic cross country skier. Its why its strange to see him his so metro now. Maybe its from having...

    Mats Wilander vs Novak Djokovic

Wilander moved the ball extremely well, and himself moved extremely well. Guy just glided out there. He would have been a big time player nowadays with modern equipment and training. Guy moves as well as anyone in today's game, Djokovic included.

Does it seem like anytime Serena loses a match....

Something uber creepy about Serena and her coach, cannot pinpoint who creeps me out more. The dresses on Serena would be thrown out of a witches coven most likely for being too witchy.

    I LIke Kerber Again.....

Not a fan of her game or her personality or anything about her. She looks like a human centaur with the massive legs and the small little upper body. I would have much preferred Woz versus Pliskova...

    Pliskova - Tennis robot?

I know a ton of Czechs, they are strange people. Athletic generally, but bat ^^^* nuts. She has a great game. I was upset to see her lose to the 2016 version of Martina Navritilova... And yeah she is very robotic looking in the eyes and speech. But hey, Czechs are different.

    Tired Of Mac's Yackin'...?

I think he is a big fan of the game, and I believe he was excited to see a young player in Pouille who could run and get to Nadal's shots. I think he has improved and gotten better at what he is doing. I mean we have one of the best players of all time commentating and half the people here...

Why Don't Taller Players Like Isner & Others Hit Like Delpo

Delpo has skinny calves for the most part, but good thickness to his thighs. Isner has an okay physique but its powered up in the legs all that much. Still a great player though, just not as great.

If Wawrinka retired this year with a USO & WTF?

Retire??? Its not like he is getting punched in the face or tackled by six guys at once... He is playing tennis, yeah tennis can grind up your hips on a one handed backhand, but this guy is dating a youngster, he is in good shape and making huge bucks. Yeah right, this guy is going to retire...

Get someone to carry these players tennis bags off the court.

I remember being a touring player, much lower ranked than these guys, and one of the most arduous things was to hump around two huge bags of racquets and the like over your shoulders after giving it your all on the court. Surely with these multi million dollar players/assets, they could use...

Get someone to carry these players tennis bags off the court.

These guys play four hours in grand slams and they have to carry their own bags weighing probably 12lbs each over their exhausted shoulders? Let me get it straight, they get umbrella's held over them to keep sun off them. BUT no one carries their bags off the court. Dumb and dumber. Why...

Wilander: "Monfils is the favorite to get to the final"

Notice carefully, that guy is not inhaling. Great old trick for when you hang with a big dope fiend . They always try to bury you under the table. Take a massive pull, make sure they just watch the exhale, and send out as thin and strong a stream as possible. Then watch them struggle to keep...

How low will Nadal go on his way out?

Normal life is pretty hard on ex pros. Most anyways. Soon as you put on 20 lbs, only the most ardent fans approach you. Soon as you put on 30 lbs, no one recognizes you for the most part. Many of these guys continue because they know as soon as they retire there is no way they can eat as...

Wilander: "Nishikori has the best backhand in the world except mayble Pouille."

I think Barbara Schett is equally bad, if not worse, then we get the gone funny looking Spanish guy with the grey hair carrot top, for on court interviews and its essentially tennis' equivalent of the three stooges. I guess the job doesn't pay well enough to get other pros to bother doing...

Nishikori will win US Open. You heard it here first.

I seriously doubt he wins, but he had a great win today. Murray just tensed up for some reason. His forehand went off, it has been strong for a couple of years, but its always been his only real weakness deep down. Today, it showed up, the weakness that is.

Shorten men's matches, says former Player Council head

I think the top players who have been on tour for X number of years are soooo bored of playing the same old lower ranked players in a best out of five in the slams. In the first two or three rounds. They are there physically, but they just aren't there mentally any more. So year, why not...

    NADAL IS BACK FOLKS

That was shockingly great tennis. About 60 insane shots or more, probably more.

Monfils; the king of draws that open up and become easy?

Pouille might prove to not be all that easy.
  27. B

    Pouille

Anyone think he can beat Monfils? I do.... But should go four or five. Probably a lot of extra pressure due to the french thing..
  28. B

    Pouille

He is exceptionally fast. And he seems to have no fear of coming to the net. Get more first serves in, and this guy is going to tear people up.

    Chris Evert classic

I could say a lot, but all I can say is that yes, she loves it. A lot. Quite famous for it.
  30. B

    Pouille

If he can stay healthy I think I just saw the next world number one tennis player. Great overall game. Seems like a really cool guy too. I would implore him though to avoid the fuscia pink in the future, I could barely see the ball sometimes because of it. lol.
