If you watch the roddick - blake match at Indianapolis 2006 you can see that Roddick is almost constantly AT the baseline or a LITTLE bit behind it. Connors is doing a GREAT job! Roddick was playing EXTREMELY well in that match against Blake OT: Gaudio is really far behind the baseline

Agree, but Nadal's grip is even more than western.. more towards hawaiian sometimes!

I think you should try closing your racquet face a little bit and then hit through the ball... Works for me

He hits with a lot of topspin so it's penetrating topspin and mentally he's strong too so it isn't really strange that he's the nr. 4 in the world!!!

Yeah, he's quite old now(31?) but he really played well when I saw him. I've seen some other pro's too but he hit really better than for example c.rochus. He played on artificial grass when I saw him play and he was mentally extremely strong!!
