I was under the impression that the LL is awarded to the highest ranked person to lose in the last round of qualifying. Either I’m incorrect (because Sloane was the highest ranked) or she declined the LL spot. Does anyone know they awarded the LL spots?

I think of it as though these guys are being rewarded for all the hard work and dedication they put into the sport to make it to the Top 100. It’s a validation of their sacrifice not a gift or easy money.
