anyone else hate watching roddick play?

Roddick isn't that bad to watch against top players, but against lower ranked ones he is awful to watch.

Have we established how hot Kirilenko is yet???

Yes, she is hot. Has a really nice body too and nice legs.

Have we established how hot Kirilenko is yet???

Lima is about as hot as Kirilenko. She only looks good in VS ads, I watched her on a talk show and I was disappointed. I don't think Megan Fox is as hot as Adriana or Maria. She just looks trashy. If you want to see a real beauty, look at Doutzen Kroes or Ana Beatriz Barros.

    Sam Stosur- underrated!

She had an easy draw to get where she is. Although she does have a chance if Kuznetsova chokes.

    Cirstea

Ana's fist pumps look really forced. I think Sorana was just trying to keep herself pumped up during a tight match.

    Are these women really 4.0s?

It doesn't, but proper technique is usually necessary for good placement, control, depth, power. Some things that the NTRP does mention.

    Videos of women ntrp 3.5-4.5

We could a lot of videos of men in this rating range but very few of women. I find that a lot of women at these levels look a lot worse than I thought they would in comparison to the men.

    Are these women really 4.0s?

Just rewatched the video and must say that some of the women do have decent looking strokes and movement. Although we can't really see where the ball is landing. It's hard to imagine though that these are strong 4.0 players.

    Are these women really 4.0s?

They're not horrible strokes but when you look at 4.0 men, they have mostly fully developed strokes (w/e the exception of some pushers) and good serves. These women have beginner looking strokes.

ESPN2 should change their name to the Serena Williams Channel

Venus' attitude is not bad. She is pretty humble in interviews. She's also well-spoken.

One good thing about Venus losing

Is that there are only 4 more players that need to lose in order for ESPN to show decent coverage. Sharapova, Serena, Roddick, and Ivanovic.

    Which would you rather watch?

I voted Sharapova-Shvedova. A potential upset match is more interesting than a long, average quality men's match

    What was Kournikova's potential?

    I meant tennis wise.

    What was Kournikova's potential?

I know she never won a title but she came pretty close at Miami in 1998. It's amazing to me that someone who made the semis at Wimbledon at 16 and had so many wins over number ones only became 8 in the world and never won a title. The question I have is how far could her game have taken her had...

    Pros with later starts..

Mervana Jugic-Salkic started playing tennis at age 13 http://www.itftennis.com/womens/players/player.asp?player=20009697. She reached top 100 I think. Also, I saw this girl who started when she was 15, she wasn't ranked but did have some itf wins.

    #1 12 and under

The number two 12 and under here beats 4.5 players. He doesn't wipe them off the court but he beats them pretty consistently. I would say probably a high 4.5. In Florida it would probably be a low 5.0.

Discovered Why I Can't Enjoy Mixed.

Mixed doubles can be fun if the girl is about your level. I played mixed with a girl better than me and she was awesome at returning. We broke almost every time.

People that always question your line calls

How do you deal with people that always question your line calls? There is this one guy that questions every line call. Like seriously, he will question balls that are 6 inches out. It has gotten to the point where when I play with other people, whenever someone asks "are you sure" someone...

U.S. Tennis Losing Ground in Developing Players

Agreed. Look at Djokovic, his parents owned several restaurants and they built him a freaking tennis court to play on at one of their ski resorts. Yeah, they sound dirt poor to me. There are some exceptions like Sharapova and Kuznetsova but look at the Williams Sisters, they were poor as well...

Who is the most interesting FEMALE player to watch of all time?

Alona Bondarenko, Jelena Dokic, and Gabby Sabatini. Oh wait you meant game-wise. I would have to say Kournikova, I honestly really like her game, it is similar to Hingis's.

U.S. Tennis Losing Ground in Developing Players

It's not how many that's the problem, it's just that they're difficult to travel to. In Europe, everything is closer together so it's easier and cheaper to travel to other places.

U.S. Tennis Losing Ground in Developing Players

The kids that are successful in juniors from Europe are also rich. I've been to several countries in Europe. I remember going to a tennis club in Serbia and most of the kids that were any good there had rich parents. And most of the Russian juniors that are playing in academies come from very...
