Close to a year since this thread opened already... So to cut to the point 1- any update? Any release day? 2- what specs are known at the moment? Head size, flex,length?

The only way for team world to pull an upset imo: -Get lucky in a few singles matches -Cannot lose in doubles. Team world actually have a very solid doubles team to choose from with a lot of chemistry. I don't know why Mac picked shapo for doubles though when he has nick and sock Also fwiw...

Why is Jack Sock only an alternate? Guessing it's to do with his low ranking. Sock/Kyrgios is actually a very high quality doubles team and team world need all the wins it could get in doubles.

Been passively on the look out for a used 7G in 3/8 and surprisingly as I'm learning, there aren't any. A member also recently pointed out the yellow 2021 q+5x. And not only are the q+5x not any on the used market but also not carried on TW USA. Which one of these 27.5" racquet is more flexible?

Can you compare the 18x20 blade vs the gravity pro on 2 criteria of flex and power. Which one did you feel was more flexible? Which had more power? To complicate things more. Have you tried or considered a 18x20 blade pro?

Right you said you play with the Blade V7 and I just assumed it to be the 18x20 like the Gravity pro and gravity tour. So it's the blade v7 16x19? Still would be interested what you though to the flex/power of that compared to the gravity pro

I was asking. Not assuming anything because I don't know! As a rec player who drop off their racquet in a shop for stringing. Say if I'm string a poly at a constant tension. Should I ask for 1 piece or 2 piece?

Is the rationale behind the 1 piece string job being more uniform because in a 2 piece, the main can lose x amount of tension while the cross lose y amount of tension? All being equal, assuming same cross string and same tension, is there any playability advantage to 2 piece string job?

I have the GPro. Amazing feel and does everything well all around. The only hesitation I have is some times wanting a bit more free power on the forehand. Is that your experience between the Gpro and Speed as well?

Interesting that you say they have the same power level when the BP has thinner beam and more flexible as you say. I have the GP and it is great but sometimes I would like some more "free power" on the forehand side so I was looking at the 2015 Blade 18x20.

Scary. Injured his wrist from hitting one mistimed ball. Could have happened to anyone, pros, juniors, rec players. The wrist is such a fragile part but crucial to tennis and most sports in general

I think I saw another thread on this the other day but yeah its tough. I don't think a lot us "regulars" like it but maybe it's more beginner friendly to someone looking for their first racquet. TW is a business obviously and they need to optimize to get sales, maybe this will help...
