    Today's equivalent of the Prince Tour 100 (2015) ?

I recently dusted off one my Prince Tour 100s (16x18) from 2014 and loved it! I think I'm going to go back to using this old O-port relic, but was wondering if there are any current Prince racquets that would be comparable to this model? I also own the Prince Tour 100 Textreme non-O-port, but...

    Recording Practice Matches.

You'll get some interesting reactions from those who don't understand why it's beneficial to record matches. A few times I got a vibe like they thought I was being self-indulgent and just wanted to watch myself play. Some don't understand it's a learning tool.

"Tennis is dying, racquets will never sell at these prices"

I actually liked it better when tennis was dying. It was much easier to get a court.

Torn between Prince Neo 1000 and Gamma 6004

The 1500 does look like the perfect machine, but I can't find it for sale anywhere. Did Prince discontinue that model?

Torn between Prince Neo 1000 and Gamma 6004

Looking to buy a high quality crank stringer, and torn between these two machines. Is the Neo only 2pt mounting? The Gamma 6004 6pt looks like a nice machine, but I know a lot people including TW swear by the Prince. Also, the 6004 appears to be out-of-stock everywhere so I'm not sure if Gamma...

How to move from 4.0 to 4.5 ?

You'd have to quit your jobs and say bye bye to the wife and kids, and devote 100% if your time to tennis. Which would mean training every day with a coach, doing drills, identifying and fixing all the weaknesses in your game. Working on your consistency, footwork, strategy, and physical...

Bad experience with RacketAid... anyone use them?

That's probably not too far from the truth. I think he opened the shop not so much to make money, but for his passion for the sport. Most tennis shops in the Bay Area are a joke -- catering to kids and hackers, and only carry The Big 4 - Babolat, Prince, Wilson, and Head. Yonex?? Uh, I think...

Bad experience with RacketAid... anyone use them?

His shop looks pretty nice though. If it was a little closer to where I live, I'd probably go there to buy gear. I believe that's the shop in Marin owned by Brad Gilbert, correct?

Bad experience with RacketAid... anyone use them?

I was wondering about this service after hearing about recently. Is it really $49 per racquet? That's a lot more expensive than how much I pay for stringing locally.

    Tennis elbow succes stories...

My perfect storm for TE/GE was years of poor desk ergonomics and intensively using a mouse on a daily basis. I've worked as a coder and graphic designer, so I was in front of a computer all day everyday for 15 years. I took 4 years off from tennis due to getting married, re-location, job...

    Pressureless balls, arm friendly?

I recently bought a ball machine that recommends using pressureless balls. It came with a few samples, and it might have been my imagination, but I tried hitting a few serves with these balls and it felt really stiff like I was feeling more shock to the arm. Any thoughts on the arm...

    light rackets vs. heavy rackets

It's all about swing speed. With lighter racquets you can whip through the ball and get more spin, but you need to have excellent ball contact and timing. Most club-level players don't have this. If your timing isn't perfect, you're going to get pushed around. Heavier racquets give you more...

    Injury nightmare for CiCi Bellis

I have to say I really enjoyed watching this girl play up until the time she played Serena Williams. It was then, and in comparison, she looked like a frail little weakling. This was before any injuries, but I knew she'd never progress unless she did some serious strength training. I hope...

    Ball Machine Questions...

Ace Attack and Playmate are not realistic if you need to throw it in the car and drive to the public courts. You'll need one of the portable ones. Be careful about Silent Partner... it's gotten a lot of bad reviews.

    Tennis at Bally‘s Las Vegas

The courts at Bally's are really just for show. No one actually plays on them. I went there one time to inquire about playing, and they seemed totally shocked I was seriously interested in playing tennis there.

2019 US Open Women's Final - (8.) SERENA Williams vs. (15.) BIANCA Andreescu

It was so great seeing all the pretentious celebrities (like Megan Markle) show up for this match thinking it was going to be a big Serena Love Fest. I'm sure ****** bag Spike Lee was there too. As Serena danced around the court being hailed as the greatest women's player of all time, the...

    US open 2019 R1: (03)Federer vs Nagal

Yeah I know, I was just kidding. I assume it has to do with what part of the country you're from. I work for a tech company and every dude here has a last name with at least 5 syllables. Nagal is much more marketable than Vazhaeparambil for example.

drink apple cider vinegar and virgin olive oil every morning

Yes, that's correct. And that's exactly why no one needs to heap spoon fulls of olive oil on top of all the other oils they're already consuming. Cut out all the bad oils as a first step. Using olive oil in cooking or on your salads is all you need. You don't need drink it -- that's just nonsense.

    Do i have tennis elbow?

Alan, what are you racquet and string specs? TE is a complicated issue with many factors that can contribute. The biggest culprits are light/stiff racquets w/poly strings at too high tension. Then there's poor technique which is another can or worms. You'll need to try and identify what's...
