Hello TT,
I will be in the Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo area starting on July 29th for about a month. I am willing to commute a moderate distance for a good hit.
I am a UTR 11, 5.0-5.5 level player. Looking for a UTR 8 or above, 4.5/5.0 and above level player.
Please let me know by PMing or emailing...
I have noticed that the demos on all the tennis websites have gotten so much more expensive. I am trying to demo the vcore pro and the ezone 98, and am located in New Mexico, so people don't really use these rackets. Do you know if there are other ways to demo for cheaper?
Thanks
Hello TT,
I am a UTR 10.5 player looking for hitting partners for December in Florida. 5.0+ UTR 9+ level. Please email me at walrus314159@gmail.com if this fits you.
Thanks
I am stringing my own rackets. I string a ton of rackets, and I am the only one to whom this happens. They break in the center horizontally wise, just above the middle of the racket.
I love the feel of razor code blue 16, but it is a bit pricy and not durable enough. I am breaking it once a hitting session minimum, and it is irritating. Any suggestions on similar feeling strings that are cheaper or more durable?
We all know that Thiem will probably end his career with 3-6 slams, and could be in the running for top 15 all time, but has he already surpassed delpo? Slam champions with 1 masters title. Does the fact that delpo had his injuries and had the arguably tougher era help him? I'm gonna say that...
Zverev put himself in there. What a surprise. Forgot about Ruud, but he is another one who might win a slam just because everyone seems to have forgotten that Nadal is going to retire and stop winning on clay some day.
I think he could be the next guy up on clay. Not just because he beat Rafa, but because there don't seem to be any clay courters better than him in the next gen. Dominic has a shot at 3-4 frenchies, but just is too old. At least right now, Zverev and Medvedev are barely acceptable on clay...
Can't say I hate all of the big three. I love watching all of them play. I am definitely a Medvedev fan, a paire fan, and any player with "amateur" technique who wins a lot. Makes me feel good about my own tennis.
And this is the point where this turns into an arguing and trolling thread between fans of the big three. Not being a enormous fan of any of the big three, this is fun to watch.
I think Borg and Mcenroe aren't talked about because tennis was so different then. Watching the next generation, tennis looks very similar to the fedalovic breed. I think they will be remembered just because they played very similarly, just better, and because they hold just about every record...
These shoes are almost unlike any tennis shoe I've ever seen, not just by color(or lack thereof). I am a New Balance Fresh foam lav user, and the on shoe resembles it a tiny bit. As someone who switched from the barricade 2,3, and 4, I welcome this look. The NBs are the best shoes currently on...
The L2 in Scottsdale is completely messed up as well. Somehow, people with UTR 8's might get seeded in B18s. And people with UTR 10's might not get seeded in B16's. I am confused.
I completely agree. The old tennislink system was like a Ferrari engine in a ford focus. It was completely developed and functional, had a few glitches here and there, and looked like it was designed on a fax machine. The new tennislink system is the opposite. It looks cool, is completely...
Hello TXTEN20,
I am a junior player from New Mexico. I am ranked top 20 in the national rankings. I think that for my section, the rankings are actually quite accurate, with a few discrepancies. The national rankings are pretty messed up, but at the same time, they were messed up before. I am...
Just saw a tennis spin video revealing the new 2021 radical pro. Seems that the new face of the radical is Taylor Fritz. This is a move that I cannot understand, as there are much more successful players endorsing the radical line, such as Schwartzman and Garin. Any thoughts or explanations?
I just wrapped up watching the movie, and saw an interesting glimmer at around 13:29 into the movie of a trophy. Looks a whole lot like the mens australian open trophy. Thoughts?
I own a progression st-II and couldn't be happier. It functions great and is affordable. The maintenance and adjustment is easy, and reliable. The only part I don't like about it is the aesthetic, which is plasticy and slightly ugly. The x-st is a great stringing machine as well. Gamma stringing...
Forgot to mention some of my honorable mentions:
Rosewall, Gonzales, Agassi, Becker, Wilander, Benoit Paire, Andy Murray, Dustin Brown, Raonic, Dan Evans, and Nick Kyrgios and Marcel Rios.
P.S. Everything after Wilander was obviously a joke.
