Babolat Gold All Court - Clay use and duration

We use Propenns at both clubs I work for. We change them every 4 weeks and their performance at the end of the 4 week period is still satisfactory. Yes they are not fresh but they are definitely playable. I am in charge of sourcing balls for my 2nd club and I was wondering if I should expect a...

Babolat Gold All Court - Clay use and duration

Hello, does anybody have experience with these Babolat balls on clay? How do they play and how long do they last? I am getting 4 weeks out of my ProPenns and was thinking of switching to the Babolats as the cost for 8 cases ends up being significantly lower. Thanks :):)

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Played 4 hours with latest Pure Drive VS, ended kinda disappointed. Even though it's not a bad racquet at all, it doesn't shine in any department. Power and spin are decent, feel is good-ish, comfort is just ok, plow is so and so. What's a good modern Babolat? I enjoyed playing with the original...

What happened to US men's tennis?

As somebody that learned the game in Europe and for the last couple years playing and coaching in the US, my biggest reasons why we haven't seen as many uber-successful Americans in men's tennis are: 1. Outdated coaching : everybody plays the same game! I feel many Americans play the same...

Crazy fight. Hopefully the show is appropriate of the big names involved. I bet almost everybody in this thread knows how great Mike Tyson but doubt many know how unreal Roy Jones Jr was at his peak.

Why do TT Members who have little to know interaction with other TT members send private messages asking for free packs of strings?

You know, I believe due to the large numbers of members here, it is inevitable that some ones will be odd and unreasonable. -- A while back, I had a 2015 Blade 18x20 for sale in excellent condition for $120. Whoever knows, this is a very rare and valuable racket nowadays, especially in the...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Head Graphene 360+ Extreme MP/Tour

The 1st and 2nd time I played the MP with PTStrike at #48 it played phenomenal, the 3rd time, the tension has dropped so much it was unplayable. Imo, string it with thicker gauge and go a bit higher tension wise and you should be good. I found the spin production of the racket very controlled...

The Most Exhausting Opponent to Play Against

I agree with you on the fact that he could shorten the points a bit more. Either by coming to the net more often or by hitting flatter. I felt he was hitting too loopy at times giving him green shirt lots of time to slice balls back. However orange shirt guy was ahead in the match so whatever...

    Head Velocity

I understand that 43/46# might have been a bit too low but my problem wasn't that the racket was too powerful, the problem was that the stringbed didn't maintain any consistency at all. Strings were moving around too much therefore every ball was different. I don't think I have ever seen this...

    HEAD G360 Extreme

I think I need to play with it at least 2 more times before I can make an assessment on comfort but initial feel is that it plays a bit softer than the previous gen. I played with it for 2.5 hours and I didn't get any kind of discomfort during the time nor did I think "hmm this could use a...

How do you recover after a match?

You don't need to stretch past that point, you only need to be able to stretch to that point (or a bit before). The average person that sits on a computer 8 hours per day will benefit from stretching no matter how healthy they eat. Most professional athletes stretch very often and when they...

How do you recover after a match?

The fact that the need is created because of the nutrition doesn't mean that stretching won't have a positive impact. Even if you are getting 100% of the nutrients you need through food.

Tons of lessons just by watching that video. Green shirt guy is definitely extremely well coordinated with very high tennis iq. Makes you wonder how good he could have been if he had started tennis earlier. Orange shirt guy is more traditionally skilled and could have made it even easier for...
