    Supergrap users... how long?

I replace my overgrip about every 4 hours of play. my guess is a lot of players use their overgrip way longer. sometimes if i see someone with a really badly worn overgrip, I offer them a free one.

Cutting old poly strings & multi racket usage

    1. full poly when it dies, has no pop. much harder to tell when in a gut/poly hybrid. 2. i like to cycle them. you will always then have a racquet ready to be restrung soon, and one that is relatively fresh for important matches.

Full bed of multi - is there one clear winner?

Dang... a full bed of multi is nicer than I remember. I am liking Rexis Speed 1.25. It also has got my tennis OCD going... having to re-align my strings b/w points. (def something i got used to not doing with full poly or gut/poly) I have a few more multis to try... NRG2 & Multifeel

Best machine for beginner (budget $1500)?

the teaching video i saw called it a "clutch", was using the Gamma X-ELS . so tourna cs-350 vs gamma x-st both crank style. one has a roller guide. any preference between the two?

Best machine for beginner (budget $1500)?

Been looking at the electric Gamma X-ELS (its another $500-600 vs the CS-350) how important is it to have a clutch (the round part you wrap the string) before the clamp? i noticed the gamma X-ST has one where the tourna does not...

Is there a reason for gut/multi hybrid?

so it seems gut/multi might be a waste, but gut/syn is a way to reduce costs. any other good syn as a cross hybrid? (slick & tension maintenance)

Best machine for beginner (budget $1500)?

Looking at the Tourna CS-350. Would hope the machine would last 20 years with low maintenance. (hence why i am fine skipping electronic)

Is there a reason for gut/multi hybrid?

seems like most ppl would advise against this. i have yet to try full bed gut, almost seems like a waste but I should at least try it at least once. was wondering about gut & multi hybrid...

    Yonex VCORE 98 Tour

the EZT was harder to use than the standard EZ98. (esp at net) coming from the VC98 to the VCT, it seemed way easier... both the standard 98s lacked stability against bigger hitters, and as discussed adding weight does not have the same result (to match the tour). Yonex QC is good, but their SW...

    Yonex VCORE 98 Tour

will report back. i am currently using yonex rexis speed 1.25 and bed still looks good after 4ish hours. usually poly does not snap, but just dies. (i also never used poly thinner than 1.25)
