Honestly, I couldn´t care less.

I actually wondered whether and how the Swiatek case could affect how the WADA is going to treat the Sinner incident. I don´t see it as beneficial for Sinner. The WADA is now probably under more pressure than before to treat these cases kind of heavy handed.

I wonder whether the WADA is going to investigate in this case as well - specifics aside the overall setting appears to be pretty similar to the Sinner incident.

Right now all he needs is a week or two off the court and plenty of pasta - me thinks he´s still looking somewhat undernourished...

I see only two players who could manage to beat Sonic on a "normal" day: Alcaraz and Zverev. The prospects of all others would depend on Sonic having an off day. Sonic is clearly the favorite to win the AO, but it is by no means a given.

Indeed, the Zedrot is right now besides Raz probably the only player who might (theoretically) pose a problem to Sonic. In fact, I really appreciate the efforts of Fritz to keep this Z thing in check.

Krawietz/Puetz in straights and (probably?) through to the semis. Could watch only the 1st set, Krawietz on serve impeccable, while Puetz was facing break points again and again. Darn solid towards the end though. They have now beaten the pairings they have already downed at the USO.

Just a week ago at the Tali Open in Helsinki, he suffered a really bad loss against Choinski - 6:0, 1:6, 2:6. No idea what was going on there though.

Tend to agree, his serve is the key. When he climbed into the top 10 he was hitting lots of 2nd serve aces, now he hits lots of DFs without even going for 2nd serve bombs.

Because it´s a fairly minor tournament played when the season is almost over.

Well, well - after Rome the second masters title for the infamous Zedmug without facing a top 10 opponent.

H2H is even, much better than Khachanov who has a dismal record against the Zedmug. Let´s hope Humbert is not too tired, he had to play a lot of tennis to reach the final.
