I attended the TTT guys session and it was 1500 ... yes .. overpriced ... and yes it wasn't worth it ...
But I got to visit palm springs ... saw some pros practice ... played some tennis ... all-in-all a positive experience

there are also a few local tennis groups on Facebook and I am sure on WhatsApp and others ...
but yeah ... not an optimal setup I'd say ... always a struggle to find a group of partners in a new
place short of joining an...
Slice counts. A good 4.5+ can can easily beat a 3.5 just by slicing and lobbing. And Jolly is a 5.0+ from what I gather. Also don't forget the serve....
I feel this match is similar in a way that the red shirt (the shorter guy) has most certainly an imperfect technique, but makes it work at a pretty high level.
If I justbsaw him play, I'd never have rated him above strong 4.0
IMO Platform prevents you from over-winding the torso as the pinpoint often does ...
If you step fwd too much with your back foot - you end up with the "spring-loaded" serve
to me it caused stress on the body ... I switched to platform, and it's a lot less stress
