    Best Shoes for Plantars

It looks like you're getting a lot of different answers which may not help you...but here's one more! I battle PF for about a year before doing a lot of research and settling on Yonex shoes. I swear by them now. I'm on my 4th pair. And even though I know I shouldn't, I wear a pair until they...

Tennis Warehouse: Babolat POP (wristband sensor) Playtest!!

On a few occasions, my POP has recorded a match or practice session as two different sessions. For example, tonight, we were 3 games into a match when it started raining. Half an hour later we resumed and completed the match. Synced data shows two separate unqualified sessions. I know that...

    Babolat POP tennis sensor

I've had my POP since December 2015 (Christmas), and have recorded about 32 sessions/matches/trainings with it. I believe the developers have done a great job continually improving the product. I've found it to be useful for identifying trends in my game. I look forward to looking at the data...

    Babolat POP tennis sensor

Shortly after my last post about my POP recording way too many volleys, they released the firmware upgrade that addressed volleys. I immediately saw improvement. My volley count looks much more accurate now.

    Babolat POP tennis sensor

I've had my Pop since Christmas. I've saved 19 sessions to it that consist of open session and matches. I've had opposite results as some others here in regards to volleys. 90% of my playing is doubles, which I know can affect some of the stats, but my Pop seems to record far more volleys than...

    Yonex Power Cushion Pro Shoes

I started this thread, and loved my Yonex Power Cushion Pro shoes all the way until they wore out. I think I actually tried to push them a little too far, though. I played in them for about 9-10 months, and started getting tendinitis in my heal. I finally decided to order a new pair, and went...

Rules Clarification - Reaching over the net...without contact

So I'm still not sure what the ruling would be here. Before I started this thread, I read that link as well, and it references actually hitting the ball. It's more cut and dry. OK, well maybe this clears it up: "(The player can only reach over to play a ball in the situation stated in the...

Rules Clarification - Reaching over the net...without contact

This is another one of those 'reaching over the net' rules questions, but I haven't found a really good answer for this specific action. I know that as long as you make contact with the ball on your side of the net, your follow through can break the plane of the net. I know that if wind or spin...

    Yonex Power Cushion Pro Shoes

They seem to be holding up well too. I might post a picture later of the sole after my 6 months of owning them, playing 3-4 times a week. I haven't found any problems with the insole, and lateral movement in them is very solid.

    Yonex Power Cushion Pro Shoes

Just wanted to add that since wearing these, I've had little to no foot pain. And I love the design. ;)

    Yonex Power Cushion Pro Shoes

About 7 months ago, I was struggling with foot pain after playing. I had plantar fasciitis. I play 3-4 times a week and couldn't find a good tennis shoe. The tried on the newer Adidas Barricades, but they were immediately uncomfortable for me out of the box. After doing some research and...

Looking for iOS app for tracking personal match results

I did a search and found an old thread or two, but nothing substantial. As the title says, I am looking for an app for my iphone to keep a history, or log, of my personal matches. I have a great app for Golf (GolfShot) that keeps a history of all of my rounds, syncs to their website, etc. I'd...

Wilson Portable Ball Machine Hopper Cover Part?

I can confirm this as well. I ordered a new battery and charger from Sports Tutor for my Wilson machine. While changing out the battery, I found that one of the wheels on the oscillation plate was worn flat. I decided to call Sports Tutor to see how much it would cost to get a new caster, and...

What's the funniest thing your partner has ever said?

Me to my doubles partner as he's about to serve, "Hey man, your ball's hanging out." He looks down at his shorts to see the tennis ball in his pocket dangling down beneath the shorts that had gotten pulled up.

Wilson Portable Ball Machine Hopper Cover Part?

I'll second the previous post. I bought a used Wilson ball machine, and called Sports Tutor yesterday with some questions. The gentleman I talked to was very nice, answered all my questions, I've got a couple parts on the way. I have to say that I think their website is pretty terrible. It...

'Racquet Tune' I've just downloaded this app and it is incredible!

Getting odd readings I just learned about this app the other night, so I bought and downloaded it. I was impressed by the reviews. Too often you read about apps that measure something and they are more gimmicky than accurate. I now own 2 Babolat Pure Drive 2012 racquets. Had 1 for about 6...
