    Your top Serving Racquets

Interesting to see this as I find it the weak link for my GPro. My serve is a strength but when I’ve demoed some other sticks like VCore Tour, Extreme Pro, and the new Gravity Tour 98 I really notice how much more bite and oomph I get on serve.

    Head Gravity 2025

Just wrapped up a week demo of the 25 GT and 25 GPro, hit them side by side over about 8 hours of singles. I love my 21 GPro, but over this week I have to admit the GT was significantly more fun. Really rewarding on big cuts, great on serve, and much easier to use on defense. It does lose some...

    New Racquet Colours 2025

Sorry, Head innovation team member here to set the record straight - new Speed colorway is actually ink and ivory.

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

My demo also came with plastic wrap on the handle, same strings as dl32 above. Took it out on the court on Xmas eve at night like the tennis sicko I am, and had a great time. Coming from a 2021 GPro for reference, felt like it had a relatively high launch angle (not like Vcore high but...

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

Yeah same, I’m hoping since we’ll be the first batch of demos going out that the strings will be a little closer to what I would really use…

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

Just put in a demo order for one, along with the 25 GPro - thanks for the heads up!

Why is the Head Gravity Pro so beloved?

As with any racquet it is really dependent on your game and your taste, but personally I love it. It’s a thin-beamed control frame with great feel, but the 100 inch head and large sweet spot means it’s plenty forgiving. Spin access is there even in a consistent 18x20, and the mass and high sw...

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

Wow yeah apparently it’s basically same sw as the 25 GPro despite 10g* static difference.

Head Boom Pro vs Head Extreme Pro 2024

I demoed both back-to-back so perhaps there are others with a more complete picture but I did get 6-8 hours of solid hitting with each. If you are looking for power, I would lean towards the Boom - I found it really fun to rip the ball, lots of pop and big access to spin. Sometimes consistency...

    Los Angeles (Dec 5-10)

What’s on your list? And if you’re headed towards the east/northeast side of LA at all, I would be down to hit while you’re over this way.

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

I complained about this same thing with the Boom Pro - or should I say pBrOoOM - and it’s not better here. Really weird design choice, almost anything else would be better. That said - the color and the gloss look great. And I don’t care aaaaallll that much if it plays well.

    New Racquet Releases 2025?

Is there any info out there about the 2025 Gravity Pro yet? Since all of the focus is (understandably) on the G98T I imagine they’re just going to shove Aux2.0 in there and slap a new coat of paint but just curious if anyone’s come across anything. Love my ‘21 GPro (didn’t feel the need to...

Head Boom Pro 2024. Why is no one talking about this racquet?

Have one of these out on demo, gotten two good hits in with it so far and really enjoying it. As someone above posted you really can rip the fuzz off a ball with this thing, and the feel of good clean contact is absolutely addictive. It’s nice and solid, and I didn’t mind what some would call a...

TRU PRO (formerly Tier One Sports)

As a former full-bed Cyclone user who has fairly recently switched to full-bed PR, I’ve found the durability better and also found the break-in much shorter with PR. I also feel like when it does go, it doesn’t die in such a problematic way as Cyclone - if I need to squeeze a few extra sessions...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Babolat Jet Tere 2 Shoes

Dang seems like I’m the only one who felt any durability issues! Maybe I’m a harder/more aggressive mover than I thought…

    Backpack for tennis racquets.

Just figured I would update after a couple months with my ADV Jetpack - yes, it is indeed excellent. Is it necessary? Absolutely not - it’s overbuilt, and you could definitely get similar utility from a markedly cheaper bag. But the design is so thoughtful and the quality is obvious. There are...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Babolat Jet Tere 2 Shoes

Tennis experience/background: grew up playing, a little bit of local junior competition and a lot of high school play, then took a long break and have been back at it semi-seriously for the last two or three years. I’m 35 and on the USTA 4.0/4.5 border now. Describe your playing style (i.e...

    Prince Official - Racquets

TLDR: how would yall compare the ATS 100 310 to the GPro? Ok sorry to be this guy but would love some impressions: I’m a ‘21 Gravity Pro player, and I love it. But just because it’s how these things go, my eye has begun to wander a little bit and wondering if I can find something with...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Babolat Jet Tere 2 Shoes

For me they’re pretty roomy (in a good/comfy way), but I have narrow feet so ymmv. Also in these pix the white colorway looks a lot better - the navy ones are not aesthetically pleasing to me, not that it really matters if they perform well (they do).

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Babolat Jet Tere 2 Shoes

As others have said, I’m really enjoying these shoes so far. Only about 4 hours on them, half singles and half liveball, but they feel lightweight and breathable and comfy right out of the box. They do run a little big but not insanely so, and pulling them tight around the ankles did the trick...

What is the deal with meniscus tear? Novak recovered in weeks.

Pro athletes often miss 6-8 weeks with a meniscus tear depending on the sport but as the madman above me said it can vary greatly with severity and location. I tore my meniscus at 30 and had to get surgery, then plenty of PT, and I wasn’t 100% for something like six months. I tried PT and rest...

What strings do you have in Gravity Pro?

Have not tried either but fwiw I did also like Hyper G Soft. Liked FireWire but durability wasn’t there. Furi C4 I liked less.

What strings do you have in Gravity Pro?

I’ve been messing around but generally like shaped poly at 48lb - started with Voikl cyclone, which I quite liked, toyed with some stuff I liked less, and now I’m using and really enjoying Tru Pro Pure Rush.

    Head Gravity 2025

Honestly I’m still in love with my 2021 GPro, this is the rare time I’m mostly hoping for a cosmetic change only. The best thing for me tbh would be for head to try to tighten up their QC.

Mobility Exercises are a MUST DO!

Post the shoulder exercises! I’ve been noticing some soreness after serve practice and would love a few things to incorporate.

    Backpack for tennis racquets.

I’ve got an ADV Jetpack coming in their next batch, supposed to ship this month sometime. I shopped around for a while but it seemed like a worthy splurge - reviews are universally great and it looks just right for what i need. i had my last bag for decades (a Wilson US Open 6 pack) and it...

Racckets deteriorate , or so says Roger Federer when discussing his RF1....

Maybe they do but as someone who used the same racquets for almost 20 years, I think it’s a little like your kid growing taller - you don’t really notice it as it’s happening, and can’t tell much of a difference day to day but when an aunt comes to town it’s always ‘oh my how she’s grown.’...

Rebound net experience for indoor practice?

I would suggest finding a nearby wall/backstop at a park and just sneaking out once in a while to hit against it (or serve a basket on an empty court) for 20-30 minutes or however long you can while baby naps. I’ve got a baby at home and this works for us once or twice a week - much easier to...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson RF 01 Family

Very interested in the Pro, glad they kept a heavy stick in the mix here despite definitely going for mass-market sales. I know this is going to get so much hype, curious to see how people feel about the actual racquet.
