    Dunlop 400 price drop

Anyone have any inside info on Dunlop 400? I noticed a price drop on them, and was wondering if this is an indication we'll soon see the S4, M4, F4 released?

Head Radical OS through the years

I demoed A Radical and Speed racquet with Youtek in it, and this is no exaggeration for dramatic effect, I got sharp pains in my shoulder within 4 strokes on each racquet. And I don't have issues with arm pain when I play.

Racquet that plays like the Dunlop Biomimetic 300

If you like the 300, give the 400 a demo. It's not exactly like a 300 or 300 Tour, but it's close enough to warrant a demo. I switched to the 400 from a 300 tour. I found the 400 to have just as good of control as the 300Tour (for me) and it was more stable, with a bigger sweetspot. Extremely...

Any Other Neutral Runners Out There?

I'm a runner as well. Anywhere from 2-7 miles per run depending on what's happening that week. I rotate between Brooks Glycerin 9's, Nike Zoom Vomero 6's, and Brooks Ghost 4's. I've tried a number of high end tennis shoes with all the bells and whistles. Most of the popular shoes have some...

On 90s grass, would Nadal have been a better grass-courter than Murray?

Murray would have a better chance on grass in the 90's. Though to me, the more interesting question is what style of game would Nadal adopted had he played in that era? Obviously he couldn't couldn't play the extreme spin that he does because the technology would not have allowed it. So would...

Which lower priced shoes offer the best value?

The K-Swiss Ultrascendor II. I've been playing in the them since the summer. They've performed as well as any of the more expensive shoes I've worn. Asics, Nike, Addidas, even the original Ultrascendor. It's also one of the few shoes I've tried that truly are court ready out of the box. I...

Which brands of tennis racquets do you DISLIKE

Babolat by a mile. I've hit with about 8 different racquets from the Aero, Pure Drive, and Pure Storm lines and I just don't get it. I had a short affair with a Pure Drive because of the serve, but the lack of feel for the ball and ball placement(control) made me look elsewhere.

    Dunlop Ice: First Impressions

You're not the only one. I don't know what I love more my Dunlop 400 or my Faulk's bamboo duck call! Sorry, I never tried Ice but I do like me some Hexy Fibre

    Dunlop Hexy Fiber thickness

I'm not concerned with durability. My one-handed backhand likes thinner strings. Don't ask why, I don't know, that's just how it works for me. Mental block or whatever it may be. It's difficult to explain through written word, but I don't get as much snap at the end of my follow through with...

    Dunlop Hexy Fiber thickness

I'm debating trying out Dunlop DNA 17g or Dunlop Hexy Fiber 17G. I like the concept behind Hexy Fiber but I'm curious if the listed gauge is actually 1.22(or relatively close) or is it considerably thicker? I used the String Performance Database and the "actual gauge" according to TW.com is...

    hybrid mulit with Gosen OG

I'm looking to get a little more power out of my strings while keeping at my current tension about the same. I was thinking about hybriding Gosen Micro OG 17(currently used in full bed) with Maybe Dunlop DNA or Silk. Does anyone have any experience or advice with hybriding a syn gut, with a...

    Big announcement from uniqlo tomorrow

Stop hatin' because you're chasing flat balls on a cracked public court while someone you don't like is making money.

    user friendly Pure Drive?

Dunlop 400. A touch less power, a lot more control, and a lot less arm pain.

What balls are you guys using?

I use Penn ATP. They retain their bounce a little longer than the US Open's

I wonder where the 400 series fits in this? They're relatively new racquets. And I love the 400.

Unfrozen Caveman Tennis Player - suggestions requested

I too was in this position after 13 years away. After cycling my way though a number of racquets I finally got to the Dunlop Biomimetic 300 Tour and couldn't be happier. Strung it up with 17G gut, and I was in heaven. I say anyone that didn't grow up on these newer Pure Drive type racquets...

I need a running shoe rec!

If you already know if you need a cushioned, or a structured running shoe, that's great. If you don't, go to a running shoe store and have them work with you and be fitted for the proper shoe for your running motion, otherwise be prepared for foot/joint issues. With that being said, I am a...

Best light weight shoe with a slightly wide fit

K-Swiss Speedsters, hands down. They are light, and good for wide feet. All of my running shoes are EE (wides), and the Speedsters don't cramp my feet at all. Awesome cushioning and support for their weight as well. I don't use them for practices, or just hit arounds. Matches only.

    dunlop biomimetic 300 tour club

I'm curious to know how much everyone's 300T weighed before any mods. TW.com has the weight listed as 320g, my first 300t 4 5;8 came in at 332g, and my second racquet came in at 328g. I liked the 332g racquet so much I weighted the 328g to match it. I'm not complaining by any means because I...

    dunlop biomimetic 300 tour club

I never had any elbow issues, but I was starting to get a "tickle" in my shoulder with my Pure Drive Roddick before I switched. Especially if I was playing fairly often. Since I made the switch, I haven't had any issues with any sort of shoulder joint soreness or aches.

    dunlop biomimetic 300 tour club

I tried it with a few different synthetics, but decided to go with natural gut. It seems to me the 300T was almost made for it, and really just enhanced all the positive aspects of the racquet. Definitely worth a try even if you've never dabbled much with natural gut. I have mine strung...

    dunlop biomimetic 300 tour club

Well I can certainly agree with this! :) I can see how someone who has used nothing but thicker framed or Pure Drive type racquets would say it's not as stable or powerful. But to each his own. My one handed backhand and slice hasn't looked this good or has been as big a weapon as it is...

    dunlop biomimetic 300 tour club

Oh heck yeah I'm in! I renounce my membership card to the Pure Drive club! I made the switch about 4 months ago. My 300T came in at 11.7 oz's and loved it. No mods needed. Babolat VS strung at 58 lbs, and I am finally in tennis Nirvana after a 2.5 year search. It's a control racquet, but...
