I might play a little :). One of my brothers was a top 20 UK Jnr some years ago. I tend to play in Winter with other slow, old folk. Shabs is great to watch but I love watching Gaultier or Ramy. Mind you Hicham just for the odd Mizuki! http://youtu.be/75RICjtqvkI Not as in to it as tennis...

The problem with gut is not necessarily the weather (though it doesn't help) directly but the ball getting very wet. That is what really gets the moisture on the strings and generally a good bit of grit too. As such it can not actually be raining but be pretty bad. Pacific and Klip (for example)...

Uuughh tell me about it. I only recently started to play again and put in some Klip. Ended up hitting while quite wet (as I'm not really moving much anyhow at the moment...). Broke it in just under 2hrs! Expensive!

Yeah agreed. There's not a lot once you're inside the arena. That and the quality is poor. Unfortunately poor quality :(... I think I ate about half in the end I haven't tried the aircast ones, I was using the ASO for a while but now I'm trying to do everything without one. I think when I...

Other side. Interesting to see Roger Rashid chatting to Fabrice Muamba the whole night next to him...that and Gasquet on the other side. Peter Fleming did a courtside right in front of me though which was fun. He comes from just down the road from where my in-laws live. Beer was surprisingly...

Thanks Ross, they are saying it's going well but that I'll never have the same stability/range of motion. That and I've gotten fat(ter) being non-sporting in the meantime so it looks like a diet and some physio work for a while for me :(... On the plus side I think I cured my "too many...

Getting there. Have been able to jog for a few weeks now for short periods and able to hit but not play if you see what I mean. Fingers crossed it will get sorted shortly. I don't even want to look at tennis on the TV at the moment!

Yes Wimby of course. He was really great to watch, one of my favourites at the net. Met the guy once briefly. Played his brother a few times strangely enough, he was an art teacher for a while. The thing with Murray is that I find it a bit sad. It's like a drag on his potential.

This is exactly what I mean. He plays well and then reverts to some weird passive mode.... Uugghhh. That said I really hope he gets there. He deserves to make it. I actually think his first will be a US open just due to the hype around Wimbledon. I was always really sad that Henman never...

Back from a few weeks in Portugal without internet/phone/work/world in general...was great. Too much seafood and wine though...feel like zzzzzzz this morning. When Murray plays offensively he always looks good! I just wish he would take more risks and play like this more often. Sure he might...

Eurosport player is great for that. They had all the matches this weekend. Got to see a lot more of Fed/Del Potro as a result. Good quality also.

You can say that again, I can't escape over here. Really sick of Jubilee TV crowding out FO time! On the plus side it's a 4 day weekend but it's meant I'm in no shape to play tennis!

Well this is what I was thinking, I don't see how they come out with much out of this. The company is so niche it needs community support and this is not a good way to go about it. That and without manufacturing support... The only thing I can think of is that they thought they could carry the...

For me the GT was much better than that version so it seems they're getting better and better each time. I still think that (unfortunately) for me it's a stiffness too far :(. Meags we now have a local artist that opened a gallery at the end of the road. He's been going down very well from...

Been ok. Quit DL on cost grounds and been abroad for work so haven't played much really. Kicking off again now. The PDRs were the blue 'GT' version. I got a couple cheap and thought I would give them another go. Needless to say the same problems from the first time came back. Grrr! I get seduced...

Hey there Ross, my company blocked this (and all) forums so I haven't been around again for a bit. Discovered Tapatalk now though :). For hybrids I really like Klip Legend 17 mains and SPPP 1.18 crosses. Awesome. I also really like VS and Polystar Energy. On this I go a bit higher than usual...

Interesting thoughts on the PD. Given that you came from a 320 did you give a thought to the heavier PDR? Personally I like that a lot more than the PD and coming from a 320 you might also. I think you get a bit more feel and control from it and a slightly head light balance. Overall a good...
