At what tournaments will Djokodal retire?

Look for Nadal to hang it up at RG 2023, if he can make it that far. The way he’s been talking lately seems to indicate he’s very close to the end. Djokovic I think will play 4-5 more years and end it at Wimbledon.

Which companies exit from tennis hurts you the most?

Pacific. I know they’re still available to order from their website but they’re hanging by a thread with no distribution in the U.S

Why can’t Yonex bring back the Ezone DR 98?

I don’t understand that company. That was the finest racket they ever produced and most of the players on tour are using it with the new paint job. Why can’t they bring it back? Every iteration of the Ezone has been missing the feel of the DR.

Is there a Yonex racket with the feel of the old Ezone DR 98?

Wha What’s wrong with Yonex? The DR 98 had a huge following so why did they discontinue it?

Is there a Yonex racket with the feel of the old Ezone DR 98?

Why can’t they bring that model back? It was the best Yonex racket I’ve ever hit with.

Question for Troy: Did you switch to Tecnifibre?

Thanks! I’ll demo the 305 18X20 and the 315. I honestly didn’t like the the original 305. For some reason it didn’t feel plush and the comfort was lacking.

Question for Troy: Did you switch to Tecnifibre?

I saw you at the play test at I.W. and was curious if you switched to the TF 40 and to which model? I was looking at getting the new TF 40 315 the play testers seemed to like it. thanks

Is the Adidas Barricade 2021 the worst shoe ever?

Is anyone besides me experiencing this friction near the achilles’ heel? I just got these and I got about 30 minutes of play in and they’re killing me. Does this get better after a longer break in period? How could they engineer and design something with this kind of a flaw? Also, the shoe feels...

Anyone notice that Yonex rackets seem to play stiffer then the RA indicates ?

RA can be misleading if it’s not calculated in the hoop.

Anyone notice that Yonex rackets seem to play stiffer then the RA indicates ?

Curious if it’s just me, but I’ve tried different string setups and lower tensions. The overall feel is still brassy and stiffer then the RA listed on the specs.

    Yonex Ezone 2022 98 or 100 ?

I like Yonex rackets but they do seem to play stiffer then the RA indicates.

    Yonex Ezone 2022 98 or 100 ?

I bought the 100 last week. It’s a great frame!

    Yonex Ezone 2022 98 or 100 ?

It was solid, comfortable and I felt confident hitting with it. It’s one of the rare times I picked up a demo and started hitting when I never felt there was an adjustment period. I just really connected with the racket. It was the best Yonex racket I’ve ever demoed.

    Yonex Ezone 2022 98 or 100 ?

I recently demoed the 100 and absolutely loved it. I can’t imagine the 98 being as good or better, but can anyone share their opinion that has hit with both? Yea, I know what you’re thinking, why not demo the 98? I just liked the 100 so much I’m ready to buy it ,but I also wanted to see what...

What’s the consensus on using a dampener in a 18x20 racket?

Do most still use a dampener in this string pattern ? Or, is the string pattern so dense it doesn’t feel necessary?

    Who owns Donnay?

Apparently they ran into financial problems. They were sued by Bethanie Mattek-Sands. The lawsuit can be easily Googled.

    Who owns Donnay?

If you thought they were bad in 2012 you should see how bad they are today. The person running it is absolutely incompetent, rude and unprofessional.

    Who owns Donnay?

It’s a great product under the worst manager I’ve ever dealt with. It wouldn’t take a miracle, just new leadership.
  24. Brett69

    Who owns Donnay?

I think you’re absolutely correct about their product. That’s why it needs to be saved. It needs real management and not some clown running the racket division from his house.
  25. Brett69

    Who owns Donnay?

I agree but the Donnay brand is worth saving. The rackets are unique. Going all the way back to Borg then Agassi, Rusedski and I can’t even name all of the others. At one point Wilander, Courier and James Blake were using them on the senior tour. It’s a shame to see this person destroy it.
