Must be back to his favorite domestic activity during the holidays.

Why do D1 players like Hyper-G?

Because Solinco goes in on marketing. It's neon green and grabs attention, easy for kids to make content with it.

Ugh... Pacific Gut... we need a time machine for that gem to come back.

    Is RF01 Pro a blend between RF97 and Blade 18x20 ?

Indeed they have, haha, to the point where it's not really a box beam anymore.

    No i did not.

    Yonex AD-ACCEL

Perhaps I can chime in as well. I've been a Vapor 9/9.5 user since the original release, and over time has stockpiled enough of them to last through the atrocities that are the Vapor Pro 2, Vapor 11. (Original Vapor Pro was actually decent in retrospective, probably the closest thing to Vapor...

Will they sell the Baiardo machines from the stringing room after the U.S. Open is over?

Yeah I know they use Head machines. Either brand will be worlds better than what I have if I can get one at a discount. So how do I get into contact with one of these reps?

Will they sell the Baiardo machines from the stringing room after the U.S. Open is over?

How did you get into contact with one of the sales rep? Might be interested in one come next year's US Open, or even at IW.

Should wilson continue the pro staff series?!

Yep, we all lived through this. Does the playability of a racquet appeal to an aspiring junior? Nope. Does the image of the racquet appeal to the junior? Yep!

Should wilson continue the pro staff series?!

I think we need to look at the Junior scene. Most of us are loyal to our current racquet because we grew up playing with them as kids. In tennis, and most sports in general, kids and the younger generation will always have the most buying power, even if they aren't doing it with their own money...

THE MIGHTY PRO STAFF 90 THREAD

Prestige Classic (and assuming the same for the 2.0 version) has always been significantly softer in flex than the Pro Staff 6.0 frames. So yeah, that's what you're feeling.

    Wilson x RF Aug 8, 2024

Most of us who went through that transition from the 90 to 97 would say the same thing. If the game is to just hit forehands, the 90 would still be supreme.

I can agree with that, good observation.

    Wilson x RF Aug 8, 2024

Agreed, it isn't a Pro Staff, it's just a repainted Ultra Pro.
  17. S

    Wilson x RF Aug 8, 2024

If it's supposed to replace the RF97, then my earlier criticism is valid once again. It's got no PWS, not even 340, not even that "pseudo box beam". Looks more like a repainted Ultra Pro than anything else.
  18. S

    Wilson x RF Aug 8, 2024

    oh? I'm mistaken then.
  19. S

    Wilson x RF Aug 8, 2024

Sooooo... No PWS, not 340g unstrung, no box beam... hell, not even the "pseudo box beam" of the 97. So what makes this a Pro Staff? (From what I understand, this is supposed to assume the Pro Staff line when it's released...)

Advice—Racquet Head Pulled Out of Shape

Not likely. If the string job was botched, then it was botched. Most retailer stringers default to 1-piece if it's not a hybrid job because it'll be slightly faster. But it's not likely to cause any deformity on the frame if done properly.

Upgrade with wise 2086 or new machine?

You guys do realize 10+ years ago, a full fledged crank with 6 points mount Eagnas and a standing mount could be had for $500 brand new, right? And they're no different than any other entry level Tournas or Alpha's crank machine. You don't get to complain about it being old and janky 10+ years...

Upgrade with wise 2086 or new machine?

If the rest of your original machine is still solid, nothing's loose or janky, go with the a Wise upgrade. It'll be a nice and inexpensive way to get into the electric world. But if the rest of your original machine is falling apart, I'd just get a whole new electric machine. I've been...

ACL and Meniscus repair without surgery

USTA also says people can't have dampeners above the bottom most cross string in their racquets, and foot faults are not not allowed and players should self regulate their own feet positions on serves... I think you'll be just fine under these USTA "suggestions".
