Need some input - Online personal stringing order management / inventory website/app

One question I'll go ahead and ask: I know most of us are stringers and can string our own racquets. But from your experiences with clients, do you think it would be necessary for clients to be able to set up their own account and login to see their old string jobs, progress on current string...

Thanks for the info about all of the other similar projects guys! I've started doing some development on my own servers at home and I'll keep this thread updated as I make progress. Even if there are others already trying the same thing out there, I think it'll be a good project for me to work...

Need some input - Online personal stringing order management / inventory website/app

I'm in computer science at UT (Tennessee). I'll start planning and working on some stuff - it'll be web-based to start off with and then I'll see where I can take it from there! Keep the ideas coming!

Need some input - Online personal stringing order management / inventory website/app

Looks like the Stringjob app hasn't been updated since October 2010. The reviews weren't too hot either. I think an ideal version would have both a web interface and a slightly simplified mobile app. Thoughts?

Need some input - Online personal stringing order management / inventory website/app

Hi all, I'm a second year computer science student looking for a project to occupy my time over Christmas break before starting an internship in the spring semester. I do quite a bit of stringing for friends, hitting partners, and teammates and because stringing isn't my main job / focus...

    Mispronunciations of Player's names

Radwanska's first and last name are ALWAYS mispronounced. It's definitely not an easy one to say if you're not Polish (I'm Polish), but I think they could do a bit better job. Spelled phonetically with an English pronunciation, it's Ag-n-yesh-ka Rad-van-ska. And the n is a soft n but I don't...

Government grant for someone wanting to study international relations?

Ok, I understand what you're saying with the preference for military personnel in this field. But even if I don't do anything with national security like the Peace, War, and Defense major, I would still like to major in IR and computer science. Are there any good websites that list...

Government grant for someone wanting to study international relations?

Hi everyone. I'm a senior this year and I've already been accepted to a few universities. Right now my biggest concern is no longer getting into college, but rather paying for it. I've gone through all of the scholarship stuff and will be applying for about thirty different scholarships...

I can't figure out how I'm going to pay for college

University in Germany (probably in the rest of the EU as well) costs anywhere between 600 - 800 euros / semester. Incomparably cheaper compared to US universities. Only problem is that many employers will probably say "huh? where's that?" when you tell them you studied at a university overseas.

I can't figure out how I'm going to pay for college

I'm in a similar situation. My family is a middle class family that makes too much to qualify for substantial fin. aid, and too little to be able to completely pay for college. What I've heard from others is that grades and ACT and SAT scores go a long way when looking to pay for college...

Using a Blackberry / Smart Phone without a Data Plan

Random question, I know, but can anyone tell me if it's possible to buy a Blackberry or any other smart phone and disable all data functions so you can use it just like a basic phone. The reason I'm asking.. I don't currently have a data package, and don't plan on spending the extra $20 - 30...

    Help with crank tensioner

Thanks for the help. That's what it was in combination with the starting clamp being too loose on the string. Strange considering everything was fine the day before though. Oh well, thanks again for your help.

    Help with crank tensioner

I bought a used Czech Tension stringing machine with a crank tensioner. I used it yesterday for the first time and everything went relatively well considering it was my first time using the machine. I tried to start stringing another racket today, and the tensioner isn't pulling tension on...

I'm also from Poland, both my parents are Poles and we moved to the US when I was four so I speak it fluently, can read, but I never learned to write. Serious dilemma during practice

Had this happen to me a few times and heres what I think it is: You start off focused, moving well, watching the ball, and focusing on the fundamentals for the first 20 minutes or so. You play great. So you think "eh this is easy today I feel great, I'm playing great, I'm just gonna put it...

light weight clay court shoes for narrow feet

The Nike Lunarlite Vapor Tours are great shoes on red clay. I'm playing in Germany for a year and had to buy some new shoes for the clay when I got here and I haven't had any problems with these.
