I'm comparing Radical with GPro. Bare that in mind.

My Radicals are strung with Hyper G 1,20mm, and with 21/22kg G98 is strung with Lynx Tour, 23/23 Radical MP has a high launch angle, at least to me. But I'm comparing it to Angell TC99 and GPro. GPro especially has a low launch angle.

Just got my hands on one of the demos. Haven't taken it to court yet, will do tomorrow. But the sound that everyone is talking about is real. Just done some shadow swings, and the racket sounds like it whistles. Tried it with GPro, but nothing remotely similar.

Well, I'm in EU(Croatia). My custom TC99 just arrived at customs. A whopping 109EUR charge. Just payed up :( I've thought there are no customs fees for EU countries?

I haven't tried it with 1.25mm string of any kind, sorry :( My tension was 21kg/20kg. Also tried it with 23/23kg, but that was simply too harsh. I'm mostly a flat hitter (especially on my 2h bh), but this frame gave my forehand some wicked spin.

It's quite easy to 'drestroy' the ball and hit it in court. Racket has really good power. It's funny, coz I don't really like power rackets. But this one I really liked. As other users posted here, it's more open than 18x20 Blade. But the strings have even spacing, which makes it really great...

Just ordered one tc99. 310gr 315mm Even though I've sold more than 30 rackets in this year alone, I still own around 20-25 rackets, including multiple prostocks. I guess I'm gonna sell those as well someday. At least I hope so...

So, here are two pics in attachment. One is SW with strings, other without strings. In order to get the Blade to 325SW, I had to add 3.5gr of lead tape to 12 oclock. Now this Blade sits in 307.5gr, with balance of 33.5 So I need to add a few gr into handle as well. At this point, I'm going back...

Well, last night got to try out 16x19 V9 blade. It felt really anemic. Took it to stringer this morning. It's 304gr without strings, 285SW. With strings it's 311SW! Balance is point on, 32cm without strings. So this thing lacks weight in the head. Really lousy QC by Wilson. Will post pics...

Kirschbaum Pro Line Evolution 1,20mm Hyper G, 1,15 22kg

GPro is really under powered when compared to Shift. But it has better feel (subjective), and is really soft on the arm/shoulders. I enjoy GPro way more than I enjoy Shift, but I play way better tennis with Shift.

Indeed. I'm currently using GPro (previos gen), and no arm issues or any pain at all. Just gonna stick with that stick from now on.

I had some wrist issues with Shift 315, and some shoulder issues as well. But still using the Shift, and the pain comes and goes. If it persists, I will have to abandon Shift :( It's a shame, since I really like this racket. Fast thru the air, stable and can hit some really heavy balls...

I use hyper g 1.15mm in almost all of my rackets. With GPro there isn't an issue at all for example. I've tried to play with 20/21kg, but since I hit rather flat, balls were sailing rather long. I now, it's me and not the racket. I used GPro before Shift. With 10gr added to the handle. Usually...

I'm getting some arm pains with my Shift 315. Using hyper G strung with 21/22kg. SW is 328. Love the racket, but as I've mentioned previously, I have a sensitive arm. Gonna give it a 2-3 weeks, and if the pain persists or gets worse, switching again to gravity :(

Alu Power, 1.2mm, 21/22kg (around 47lbs i presume). It's better with Hyper G 1.15mm, same tension. A lot less jarring. But it's probably not the rackets fault as I said previously. I have a really sensitive arm, so it will take some getting used to the new racket.

Solinco Hyper G 1.15mm adds 32 SW in my two rackets.

Well, to update on my 'jackpot' GPs... When strung with Solinco Hyper G 1.15, SW is 324. That proved to be not enough. So my shop customized them by adding some lead at 12 oclock, and now they are at 330SW. Works like a charm. Like @RockWizard, I've lost some easy power I had with my Pro Stock...

Maybe. But Gravity has very different head shape, and different feeling (imho of course).

My only gripe is that there isn't an 98" version. 98" Gravity, with 20mm beam, 315-320gr, 31mm balance, and around 330SW. It would move thru the air faster, and still have large enough sweet spot. Maybe one day....
