    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

I'm comparing Radical with GPro. Bare that in mind.

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

My Radicals are strung with Hyper G 1,20mm, and with 21/22kg G98 is strung with Lynx Tour, 23/23 Radical MP has a high launch angle, at least to me. But I'm comparing it to Angell TC99 and GPro. GPro especially has a low launch angle.

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

Well, last night I've played a 3h session with Gravity 98. I'm gonna compare it to GPro, and Radical MP, rackets I've used the most in last months. I've strung my Gravity 98 with Lynx Tour at 23/23kg. Racket came at 32.8mm balance strung, and with 323SW. Reading about high launch angle and...

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

Just got my hands on one of the demos. Haven't taken it to court yet, will do tomorrow. But the sound that everyone is talking about is real. Just done some shadow swings, and the racket sounds like it whistles. Tried it with GPro, but nothing remotely similar.

I know. But 2 years ago I had no customs fees, so I thought I will get lucky again :(

Well, I'm in EU(Croatia). My custom TC99 just arrived at customs. A whopping 109EUR charge. Just payed up :( I've thought there are no customs fees for EU countries?

WIlson Pro Stock 18x19 - Sebi Korda´s racquet

I haven't tried it with 1.25mm string of any kind, sorry :( My tension was 21kg/20kg. Also tried it with 23/23kg, but that was simply too harsh. I'm mostly a flat hitter (especially on my 2h bh), but this frame gave my forehand some wicked spin.

WIlson Pro Stock 18x19 - Sebi Korda´s racquet

I've used them (own 2 of them) with hyper g, tour bite, lynx tour and kirchbaum pro line evolution. All with 1.20mm thickness. Every string was great, except pro line evolution. Used it, but in 1.20mm. Excellent string for this frame. As I said, slice really isn't my cup of tea :) Mine came...

WIlson Pro Stock 18x19 - Sebi Korda´s racquet

It's quite easy to 'drestroy' the ball and hit it in court. Racket has really good power. It's funny, coz I don't really like power rackets. But this one I really liked. As other users posted here, it's more open than 18x20 Blade. But the strings have even spacing, which makes it really great...

WIlson Pro Stock 18x19 - Sebi Korda´s racquet

I own two of them. Going for sale as well. One of the best rackets I have ever tried, but it doesn't help with my TE situation. At all :(

Just ordered one tc99. 310gr 315mm Even though I've sold more than 30 rackets in this year alone, I still own around 20-25 rackets, including multiple prostocks. I guess I'm gonna sell those as well someday. At least I hope so...

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

So, here are two pics in attachment. One is SW with strings, other without strings. In order to get the Blade to 325SW, I had to add 3.5gr of lead tape to 12 oclock. Now this Blade sits in 307.5gr, with balance of 33.5 So I need to add a few gr into handle as well. At this point, I'm going back...

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

Well, last night got to try out 16x19 V9 blade. It felt really anemic. Took it to stringer this morning. It's 304gr without strings, 285SW. With strings it's 311SW! Balance is point on, 32cm without strings. So this thing lacks weight in the head. Really lousy QC by Wilson. Will post pics...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson Labs Shift Prototype

GPro is really under powered when compared to Shift. But it has better feel (subjective), and is really soft on the arm/shoulders. I enjoy GPro way more than I enjoy Shift, but I play way better tennis with Shift.

Indeed. I'm currently using GPro (previos gen), and no arm issues or any pain at all. Just gonna stick with that stick from now on.

    18x20 Wilson Shift prototype

I had some wrist issues with Shift 315, and some shoulder issues as well. But still using the Shift, and the pain comes and goes. If it persists, I will have to abandon Shift :( It's a shame, since I really like this racket. Fast thru the air, stable and can hit some really heavy balls...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson Labs Shift Prototype

I use hyper g 1.15mm in almost all of my rackets. With GPro there isn't an issue at all for example. I've tried to play with 20/21kg, but since I hit rather flat, balls were sailing rather long. I now, it's me and not the racket. I used GPro before Shift. With 10gr added to the handle. Usually...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson Labs Shift Prototype

I'm getting some arm pains with my Shift 315. Using hyper G strung with 21/22kg. SW is 328. Love the racket, but as I've mentioned previously, I have a sensitive arm. Gonna give it a 2-3 weeks, and if the pain persists or gets worse, switching again to gravity :(

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson Labs Shift Prototype

Alu Power, 1.2mm, 21/22kg (around 47lbs i presume). It's better with Hyper G 1.15mm, same tension. A lot less jarring. But it's probably not the rackets fault as I said previously. I have a really sensitive arm, so it will take some getting used to the new racket.

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson Labs Shift Prototype

I agree. I've tried previous and current Speed Pro. I hated both versions. I simply couldn't feel the ball in my strings. At all. With Shift, feeling is good enough. Not like GPro or Blade Pro, but good enough. I have some arm issues with Shift, nothing major, but I feel my elbow a little. I...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson Labs Shift Prototype

I have a really sensitive arm. And I like 18x20 frames for control. Reason I'm using Gravity is because Blade and Tf-40 are simply too taxing for my forearm. Gravity is really soft and plush, while Shift is fast and a bit stiff. But 2 matches so far, no arm pain. It's too early to tell, but I...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson Labs Shift Prototype

I've completed my second session with Shift 315gr. My came with 317gr, 295SW (unstrung of course). With my Hyper G 1.15mm, SW is 328. I come from Gravity Pro, so Shift seems rather easy to swing, and really fast thru the air. My first impressions are that I really love it. It's stable, fast and...

    Head Gravity Pro club!

Well, to update on my 'jackpot' GPs... When strung with Solinco Hyper G 1.15, SW is 324. That proved to be not enough. So my shop customized them by adding some lead at 12 oclock, and now they are at 330SW. Works like a charm. Like @RockWizard, I've lost some easy power I had with my Pro Stock...

Maybe. But Gravity has very different head shape, and different feeling (imho of course).

    Head Gravity Pro club!

My only gripe is that there isn't an 98" version. 98" Gravity, with 20mm beam, 315-320gr, 31mm balance, and around 330SW. It would move thru the air faster, and still have large enough sweet spot. Maybe one day....

    Head Gravity Pro club!

Well, back to Gravity Pro. Asked TWE for matchmaking service. Picked up two of these, both with SW 297, one is 314.8gr, other is 314.3gr. Balance on both is 31.3cm. That is with plastic wrap around handle. Now just got them to a shop for a string job, so measured them there as well. Without...

    Head Gravity Pro club!

I'm heading back into GP club. Just ordered two of those from TWE. One is 31.3 balance, and the other is 31.5. Both with SW of 297, and around 314gr (with plastic wrap around handle). So little under specced, which is what I wanted. I've used Solinco Hyper G 1.15mm with my previous GP, with...
