That's strange. I have a React custom 96 Mid and there is a trap door. The Angell logo is on a thin metal plate which can be peeled off though - I think you might just accidentally peeled off the metal. The trap door should still be there. Give it another try?

For me the launch angle is a little inconsistent and a bit too stiff for me. But that’s just my experience. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Apparently a lot of people use it in full bed.

Same. Gut main poly cross. Also tried 1.28mm Zero main + 1.25mm Sync cross and definitely prefer the hybrid than full bed Zero.

Haha right. I did try Sync in full bed and it felt great too. I think it feels better than, for example, gut + Razor code soft hybrid. Also better than some sharp shaped poly or very muted poly.

I hybrid 1.25mm Sync with 1.30mm VS Touch gut, and it feels great. Might be my new set up going forward.

Tried 1.25mm as a cross for Paradox Pro 1.29mm. Compared to 1.25mm Polytour Pro cross with same main, it feels stiffer but crisper, and gives better control. The feel is also more direct. It's very slick which allows the main to snap back. My opponent says I hit with more spin.

Thanks for sharing. I also feel with some strings this racket can feel board-y. Its stiffness is not high but the feel is on the firmer side. I like Hawk Power too. Never tried it with this racket though. Also wonder if Hawk Power would hybrid well with natural gut.

I have two EZ98 2022 (one blue, one black), and one VC98. All three are strung with Grapplesnake Tour M8 1.25mm. Blue EZ98 strung swing weight: 319 Black EZ98 strung swing weight: 316 VC98 strung swing weight: 318 So why the TW measurement is wacky?

Thanks for sharing. If Vcore 100 has 13.1 and 13.2 TW, then 98 having 12.7 TW makes sense. It seems like Yonex QC is still good. It's just the Vcore line has a low twist weight by design being a spin oriented racket.

My experience with Yonex QC has been quite good. That’s why I mostly buy from them since it’s easier to match rackets. If this is QC issue then it’s really sad.
