Robin Soderling RS Legacy V1 shoes launching this fall.

How are the CT-Rally on clay? They don't look like they'd be great, not super deep or much tread to dig in but I have a friend who uses them and I really like the AO colorway.

Robin Soderling RS Legacy V1 shoes launching this fall.

So the black ones are better looking in person than the pictures? I like the design and the white colorway but really need clay and the black looks a tad bland.

How Much Am I Missing Out on by Going With 18x20 vs 16x19?

Another rec The new Pure Drive 98 now has a 16x20. I really liked that frame, very easy depth and pretty easy spin. Good power on serve and easy to use.

How Much Am I Missing Out on by Going With 18x20 vs 16x19?

You're not missing anything. Dense patterns for life. If you liked the Speed, why not try the Speed Pro. Same formula but an 18x20 pattern. Also, string the Gravity lower and give it another go. I never feel like the Gravity is lacking power when I hit with it. Try the Solinco Whiteout 18x20...

Breaking strings as a low rated player: Should I use poly?

Head Lynx is a very good approachable poly. NOT Lynx Tour, just regular Lynx. It is arm-friendly, good control, good spin, all-around very good. It does lack some tension maintenance but won't break your arm after that either. The stringbed just feels a little more trampoline-ish. I used the...

    Why 90 headsize?

Lotta people on here (and the general populace) think 98 is small, so yes it seems they have. Yet 100 is just dead on perfect. o_O

Maybe I'm not so in love for $180 @bobeeto you may have won the stand-off before it even began.

Pro Staff 6.0 85 is legit

I did OGSM at 50 and it felt great. So I'd say 47 is probably even better because you don't have to worry about lacking control.

Looking to upgrade my old Wilson K Six One Tour 90

Probably the Pro Staff 97 V14 is your best bet for a familiar feel. I'd consider a Blade Pro, probably 18x20 just for the flatter trajectory but maybe 16x19 and just up the tension a bit. This one you may have to add weight if youre set on the 12oz mark but it has a nice high SW so punches above...

    ON (The Roger) tennis shoes

One update: Still wearing my Roger Pro's as my main shoe but... The snap lace holder on one of the shoes broke. I can still attach it due to how the snap broke but it is not repairable. I tried to reach out to customer service and they basically said submit another warranty claim. I offered to...

    Head Gravity 2025

It does not feel like 59RA. When I read the stiffness had gone down I was surprised. Maybe it was the higher tension but Hawk Power isn't really a stiff string. I'd definitely revisit this new one.

    Head Gravity 2025

Yeah the slight change in balance seems to have had a profound effect. For me, it tops the Gravity 98, I don't need another 98, 16x19, 305g yada yada yada

Any slick poly strings with more power the OGSM?

I did google before posting because I knew Gamma was reducing their tennis string portfolio and found what seemed like a good amount of listings. Obviously someone could buy all of it from everywhere if they loved it. But a noteworthy detail for sure.

    Head Gravity 2025

I had several pretty in-depth posts as I demoed the new Gpro for a week. I'm working to sell a couple frames and may likely move to the new Grpo. It was instantly playable, felt more maneuvrable, no adjustment period. The worst thing for me was serving but thats more on my mediocre service...

HEAD Lynx / HEAD Lynx Tour - Any difference in power?

Yes, it is more powerful and feels very different. Lynx is the better string, IMO. Better feel, pretty good spin for a round poly, good control for a soft poly. Tension maintenance does suffer but the string remains playable it's just more springy/more trampoline effect after losing tension...

Any slick poly strings with more power the OGSM?

Gamma glide, literally only sold in half sets, designed as a cross. Had it once in a used racquet with gut mains, seemed to work really well.

RS Lyon (new string from Robin Söderling)

I've got a set of 1.20 that I think I'll string up next and compare to 1.20 ALU

    Luxilon Eco Spin

Pretty good assessment and I agree EcoRough is best. I didn't feel like I needed to string lower when using my normal tension but a good thought to try if I ever use them again.

Yeah ive never captained, so maybe not. But from the outside it seems like alot of effort Even if it's minimal effort, what's the point?
