    Rank Djokovic's nine AO titles

There's no clear cut IMO and it will depend on the value I give to the early rounds... 2011 2012 2013 2019 2008 2015 2016 2020 2021- the level he displayed in the SF\F was on par with some of the better runs but his 2nd-QF(partially also duo to his physical issues) were pretty poor. My...

    Was murray an all-time great?

Depends on what the criteria you set for the term. Do you consider B.Becker(or players with similar career achievements) an ATG? This is all up to your subjective opinion, personally I think he needs a slam or 2 more to be considered an ATG but some may argue he is one already.

Could 2008 Nadal beat 2013 Ferrer, 2009 del Potro, 2019 Thiem, 2009 Soderling, 2015 Wawrinka, 2011 Novak, 2006 Roger in a row at RG to win the title?

He probably will pull through, Ferrer should be glad to win more than a couple of games in a set, delpo will put up a fight but he won't take a set, he beats thiem in straights, soderling might have a decent chance to take a set, stan doesn't fair well against a well playing nadal on clay so...

Roland Garros 2020 Final: Novak Djokovic [1] vs Rafael Nadal [2]

This might be worse than the 2008 FO final.

2020 Roland Garros QF: Rafael 'Rafaello' Nadal v. Jannik 'the unrepentant' Sinner

Lets see how sinner can handle nadals top spin, he will struggle thats for sure. I expect the Spaniard to win in 3, with a score line along the lines of 6-1 6-3 6-4. Would be a good lesson for the youngster.

2020 Roland Garros QF : (1) Novak 'Throatgate' Djokovic vs (17) Pablo 'Karen'no Busta

If novak manages his emotions and doesn't go bonkers again he will win in 3, maybe 4 sets if busta really frustrating him. But it will be a close match, one set will go to at least 5-5.

2020 Roland Garros 4th Round: [15] Karen “Karen” Khachanov vs. [1] Novak “Gioco” Djokovic

Novak in 3, with 2 close sets. I can see KK winning a set if he plays really well and novak is off.

ESPN Odds for RG 2020 - Djokovic heavy favorite

Sure, his chances are not as high as usual, and he bound to lose eventually here, but he is still nadal and this is still clay BO5, his pet slam while thiem took only 1 set off him here and novak did not play his best in the french for quite a while, he was far from unbeatable in Rome as well...

ESPN Odds for RG 2020 - Djokovic heavy favorite

I guess winning a title 12 times(in the last 15 years and with only 2 loses) is not enough to qualify him as the favorite...

Novak is in front of his idol... 291 weeks guaranteed...Next hurdle Federer...

Great achievement, next and the main course is beating federers record, although it won't be easy(missed a huge opportunity with his DQ in New York to gain a lot of points), he can't gain much on clay(good thing thiem and nadal can't gain points on clay) and his rivals can gain points after RG...

Is Thiem now considered better than del Potro?

Achievement wise I still consider JMDP as the more accomplished player by a smidge, however dominic will surpass the Argentinian soon enough.

US Open 2020 final - Dominic Thiem[2] vs Alexander Zverev [5]

Zverev tends to surprise people in big finals, beat djokovic to win Rome in 2017, beat thiem in Madrid 2018 and won WTF beating djokerer back to back. Never write him off, he pulled 2 comebacks in his last 2 matches he can win this if he plays well. That being said, if thiem plays his best he...

US Open 2020 SF: [2]Dominic Thiem vs [3] Daniil Medvedev

Clutchminic showed up, won the last 2 sets from a break down and won two close tie-breaks. This reminded me a bit of the WTF match where medvedev lost to nadal, he simply couldn't take his chances. Overall, disappointing match, expected a more intense battle, this tournament lacked a truly great...

    2020 US Open QF - Andrey Rublev [14] v Daniil Medvedev [5]

Probably Medvedev in 4. I don't know for whom to cheer, both are some of my favorite players, if only one of them was on the other half... Hopefully we will get a great and not too texting on the body match, so the winner will be fresh for the semi.

Djokovic fans - What is his most heartbreaking/dissapointing Grand Slam match loss for you?

French Open 2013 or USO 2013. RG 2015 was not such a big deal(stan played stunning tennis) and his wimbledon 2013 lose was more sad than heartbreaking(murray played well and did what he had to though).
  17. danglarND2010

Poll: Who'd you most like to win the USO, out of the remaining draw?

anyone of Shapovalov, Rublev and Medvedev will be amazing. Thiem is a very worthy champion as well, and Zverev will be a fitting ending as well.

Is this the beginning of the long-awaited power shift?

Its a beginning, but it will take some time until the old guys are down and out. Remember that nadal, federer and wawrinka did not play here, novak level wise is not done and who knows maybe murray will eventually return to a good level. This tournament will give the experience and and belief...

    Reactions to Djokovic ball/throat incident.

At first I missed the hitting moment, I though she collapsed due to heat or something, only when they showed the reply I understood why novak looked so pressed about it. The moment I understood what happened I knew he was going to be disqualified. Not the way I hoped his streak and uso to end...

    Not surprised by Novak's DQ

Yeah, djokovic was careless, but its nothing new(he was very close to a default at the 2016 FO as well). It was a freak accident, I guess it was bound to happen eventually and we can only hope he turns it into a positive and learns from it(I am sure he feels awful about it). People forgave shapo...

The End of the Big 3/4 ERA IS HERE!!

All it took to have a new slam winner is a pandemic, federer(+ del potro) injured, nadal and stan not playing, cilic and murray declining and djokovic defaulted. Well, all revolutions needs to start from somewhere.
  22. danglarND2010

With Novak gone, who do you favor winning the title now?

Zverev, he is in the final in every way possible, its just formality at this point while the other half is full packed.
  23. danglarND2010

Trash. Utter Trash. Djoker Should NOT be disqualified

Novak was abusing the ball today a lot, it was an unfortunate accident but novak should have controlled his mood swings. Understandable call, it ruins the tournament to some degree and makes an easy pass for the younger players to reach the final, but it is what it is.

Pablo Carreno Busta's Ominous Prediction before Novak Djokovic encounter

Busta using some voodoo or dark magic confirmed?
  25. danglarND2010

Nole Fans, I had a Bad Feeling about..

Yeah, definitely had a feeling of new slam winner written all over it despite novak being the favorite. No one to blame but himself here though.

How the "Generations" are actually faring at the US Open

Good tournament for next gen, would have been different if nadal, federer and stan played though. Great analysis BTW
  27. danglarND2010

How would Nadal and Federer's careers look like if Djoko 2.0 had not emerged?

Its impossible to tell, since the draws would have changed and the players career trajectories would have changed. Maybe novak would have still won a few slams, maybe nadal would have had less injuries, maybe stan would have won more(like AO13).
