    Volkl 8 300 SG and 315 SG

Let us know how it goes! BillKid, I would expect the update to be around April 2016 since the SG 8 came out around April 2014, but I haven't seen or heard anything about the next round of Volkl updates.

A_Instead - I agree, and thank you again for leading me to this fine racquet!

    Volkl 8 300 SG and 315 SG

I just starting playing with a Volkl SG 8 315, and I am blown away by this frame. I have been using mostly PD and APDs over the past few years, and have demoed everything along the way. The SG 8 315 is exactly what I've been searching for - a more solid, more controllable and more comfortable...

    Textreme Warrior 100

I like the dominant black color, but reversing the colors would work well too. It's the simple PJ of these racquets, without all the excess silly graphics that everyone else is doing, that make the Textremes so nice. Regarding the Warrior - It's pretty obvious by all the hype, that whenever...

Prince Textreme Tour 100T vs. Wilson Pro Staff 97 LS

The TT100T and PS97LS have almost identical specs and very similar TW power potential ratings. Has anyone tried both? How do they compare - Which one is more powerful? More Forgiving? Easier to play with? Which one do you prefer?

    Prince Textreme Tour 100P (310g, 18x20)

Does anyone know when the Textreme Warrior 100 will be coming to the U.S.? Or when they will be on pre-sale on TW?

AI 100 vs APD vs PD to restart tennis

I have the PD 2015 and APD 2013, I also have the Xi 100 (and demoed the Ai 100). Out of the three I would say the PD 2015 is my favorite. It provides me with the most powerful and best serve (which is very important), and it is the easiest and most forgiving to play with. The APD 13 is slightly...

    Customizing Textreme 100t

A_Instead, how do you compare the 100T to the XT Instinct MP? I followed your recommendation on demoing the Instinct and I'm liking it a lot. I also ordered a PS97 for the fun of it - I will be playing with that tonight. The new prince textremes look promising - Do you prefer the 100t or 107...

    Babolat Grip Size

I WOULD downsize with the APD. With an overgrip it should be good. And like Jack said above, you can always use a thicker overgrip if necessary.
  11. BC1

    Babolat Grip Size

In my experience, the Babolat original grips for the PD and the APD do run slightly bigger, but the original grips on the other Babolat racquets feel true to size - about the same as a Wilson grip (for me). What Babolat racquet are you considering?

    Babolat Grip Size

    YES ^^^^ correct
  13. BC1

    Babolat Grip Size

^^^ Agree. However, I've found that this is true mainly just for the pure drives and APDs which come with the Babolat Syntec grip, which is thicker and has more cushion. The other Babs, like the Pure control or old pure storms have the "skin Feel" grip which is definitely thinner. Also I've...

    JackB1's 11oz Racquet Corner

Very similar in ease-of-use. AI 100 I feels more dampened and muted. APD 2013 feels slightly stiffer, but I feel better connected with the APD. For me control is also better with the APD. Both are great rackets it all comes down to personal preference and the feeling you're looking for. I played...

    How do you mail racquets?

The "priority" rate is still very inexpensive, and almost guarantees two day delivery to anywhere in the US. There's no reason not to ship them this way. Plus it automatically includes $50 insurance I believe. Pay for another $50 insurance and you can ship a racquet (insured with a delivery...

    How do you mail racquets?

If you use the two priority box method, and pay for priority shipping it shouldn't matter to the USPS. That's what the boxes are there for. And you shouldnt be required to cover it because its being mailed "priority". The postal worker usually and should weigh it, take the measurements of the...

    Diary of a Racketaholic

I have the new instinct as well, at times I like and at times I don't. Ezone feels more solid and stable. Both good racquets. In comparison to the 99s, I can see the similarities, but 99s sw is higher and for my game the 99s has less control. I don't hit with enough topspin to play consistent...

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Not sure if anyone is interested in getting this thread back on track, but in response to one of the last posts made before all of the madness... Ross, I have found the Ezone XI to be one of my favorite racquets - to me, it is definitely a "better" PD, APD, Warrior, etc. Has more control...

Exo3 Tour (16x18) vs IG Radical Pro

    A. I ended up getting both and I don't notice much difference in the two as far as power goes. It surprisingly seems the same. I agree with saqdeez comments, I think the 18×20 has better control and a more consistent stringbed. I think I prefer the 18x20. However, for some reason the 18x20 seems...

    Yonex vcore 97 310

Try the yonex poly tour pro 125 (yellow). Amazing string and the best poly ive tried. Comfortable for a poly, with perfect combination of power and control. Plus it looks amazing in any racquet!

Babolat aeropro drive 2013 or Prince exo3 tour 16*18

^^^ I agree. And I actually think the exo3 is "easier " to play with then the apd because for me I'm much more consistent with it.

    Yonex 110% Loyalty Tour

I'm curious to see if there is a noticeable difference. How stable is the vcore 100 against hard shots, any problems when hit outside the center? The lighter wesight and hl specs have concerned my with this racquet so I never demoed, bur want to.

    Yonex 110% Loyalty Tour

To me, the exone Xi 100 has the power of the pd, but is more solid feeling, has better Control and doesn't feel stiff at all. Its very comfortable. ... but it could have something to do with the strings as well. I love the poly tour pro 125 strings. Probably the best all around poly ive tried...

    Yonex 110% Loyalty Tour

^^^^^ ive also tried the vcore 95, the vcore 98, the vcore Xi 98, the ezone xi 98, and the vcore tour 330. They are all very nice, but for me nothing beats the tour310 or ezone xi 100. Great all around racquets. Both surprised me. The ezone Xi 100 is actually same weight as my 310 and sw is...

The Nike Air Max Cage fan club

Yes.I like them. Ive never been able to comfortably wear Nikes due to my wider fore foot. Ive been wearing the Barricade 7 (size 11.5) for over a year and love that shoe as well. The barricade is more stable and secure feeling. However the cage is lighter and more comfy. I feel quicker in the...
