That does not, in any way, describe federer. How can you explain his clutch performances in his the GS matches he's played; he beat Roddick in the best match roddick's ever played, in another he won even when down match point, and his win in wimbledon last year was clutch. Federer thrives on...

He played perfectly fine in Hamburg, actually even better than nadal for much of the match. He played alright at Rome before that, so i think he has his tactics down. It's more mental from now onwards for fed.
