    One racquet from each brand

1.Babolat- AeroStorm Tour GT 2.Wilson- Pro Staff Tour 95 - it basically feels like the racquet grabs the ball and then lets you throw it exactly where you want 3.Head- Ti Radical

From Pro Staff 97 to Blade 18x20

Which version of the Blade did you use? Small sweetspot was my primary complaint about the 2015 18x20. I may give it another try if later versions are different or if the lack of sweet spot was just my string setup.

Recommend a Demo Racquet (or two, or three)

Never played with a Prince racquet, mostly because that's what all of the older guys use at the local club. I assumed that meant they were overpowered or built for comfort.

Recommend a Demo Racquet (or two, or three)

How is the stability with the Yonex? And thanks to everyone for the responses. I know there is tons of information on TW, but i'd rather hear from you guys.

Recommend a Demo Racquet (or two, or three)

What version and string pattern? I've played with the 2015 18x20. I could never get my ohbh going with it the way I'd like.

From Pro Staff 97 to Blade 18x20

I played with a Blade 18x20 (2015) for a while and demoed a PS97. The Blade has great plow through for its static weight. It suffers a little on maneuverability, but has been one of my favorite racquets in the last few years. The only reason I didn't continue to play with it is because it...

Recommend a Demo Racquet (or two, or three)

I've been playing with a Head Graphene XT Speed Pro the last few years, and i'm ready for a change. With an overgrip and strings, mine comes in at about 9 pts HL. I've always found the racquet to be too whip-like, and I've never grown to like the feel of the Graphene XT. To me, it feels a bit...

Clay court advice for 3.0/3.5 player used to hard surfaces

I've had almost the exact same problems on clay, so i'm glad you started this thread. I'm a 3.5 but tell everyone i'm a 2.5 on clay. Put-away power and quickness/court coverage are my two strengths, but consistency is my weakness. Clay really reduces my advantages. I've done three things...

what rackets are "firm" but "muted"

I read your description and the Head Graphene Radical Pro immediately popped into my head. It feels firmer than its specs, but is still very muted/plush. I was very surprised with how it played given its reviews. I didn't get the "brassy" feedback some people did

Anyone with a players' stick also carry a tweener for off days?

I had the exact same experience with the Speed. I wanted to pick one up just for the few extra service freebies, but it didn't seem to mesh with the rest of my game.

Analysis Paralysis - Pick a Racquet for Me

"It will be anything you want it to be as your strokes improve." Good insight. That's one of the things I'm looking for.

    Bonjour from Babolat

I need grommets for mine as well! Where can I get them??

Analysis Paralysis - Pick a Racquet for Me

I'm curious what differences you picked up between the two. From my perspective the XT had better power and maneuverability while the blade had better ball pocketing and control. With the 18x20 blade though I really felt like I lost a few mph on almost every stroke in my fame.

Analysis Paralysis - Pick a Racquet for Me

Only problem with string tension is I cant experiment before I buy the Blade. Although I have to say I prefer the feel of the Blade over any other racquet I've demoed, so If I can make it work somehow...

Babolat APD 2013 very low powered?

I always feel like I'm hitting a quicker ball with the APD over many other racquets. But, I feel like my shots don't have as much weight. I attribute this to the fact that the ball seems to spring of the APD quicker due to the stiffness of the racquet and the high tension of the strings I was...

Analysis Paralysis - Pick a Racquet for Me

Thanks, that seems like a good way to get the weight a little higher. I'm going to look into how to do that. I know there are plenty of threads on the subject.

Anyone with a players' stick also carry a tweener for off days?

I have to disagree, with a caveat. If im playing doubles I find that its ok to switch to a different racquet for my partner's serve and the next game. For singles, no switching.

Analysis Paralysis - Pick a Racquet for Me

This is a "chose my adventure" post. After 3 months of demoing I've got imy racquet choices narrowed down, but I'll never be able to make a final pick without thinking "what if." Fortunately, if someone tells me what to pick I'll probably buy it and never look back. So, I submit to the...
