It does feel different with Rafa this time, he dominated everyone on tour last year in the slams up until he withdrew from that Wimbledon semi injured, just seems to never have recovered from that and at his age now it will be extremely hard to come back.

Was always surprised Rafa turned up for this tournament, it’s irrelevant how he does in it really and proves nothing, just needs to keep himself right for the slams.

Its a weird one , Wawrinka must be the only player since 2014 that has beaten Djokovic in three different slams, when Wawrinka peaked like that he was the only player that could consistently go toe to toe with Djokovic at different slams.

Nadal will eventually get some sort of career ending injury and have to retire, it’s inevitable . Could be anytime or anywhere , he won’t really have a say. Djokovic will retire whenever he is a few slams clear or knows he can no longer be caught, either way he will play longer than Nadal.
