Head Pro Tour 2.0 - Ask Us All Your Questions! (podcast now here!)

Are Head PT 2.0 still available somewhere? Any idea?

    Mikeler's Multis

But as a full bed scenario or in hybrid? Well done!

    Mikeler's Multis

Okay, thanks! I will try NXT Control with AluPower 125. Since it has extra poly fibers – I will try 22.5/23kg. I could compare the feel of it easily to my standard setup. Just got RPM Blast with VS Touch – try it as well. The next phase will be testing NXT17 with a few other poly crosses –...

    Mikeler's Multis

I guess that's the main thing for me – don't like too muted things in tennis. So you suggest using NXT Control full bed for a start? Or hybrid?
  5. Songs For A Dead Pilot

    Mikeler's Multis

Okay, I ordered Signum Pro Micronite. I will try it in hybrid with Luxilon Alu Power 125. Never played with NXT Control, but I bought it as well. Do you think I should try out NXT Control in hybrid as well? Can you tell me a bit more about this string? Well, I played with Isospeed Control...

    Mikeler's Multis

I must admit that despite the fact I do love NXT with AluPower – I never use it as full bed. I really love the fact that both Wilson NXT17 and Tec BiPhase X-One are noisy. Love to hear how I hit the ball. Are any of your suggestions to muted?
  7. Songs For A Dead Pilot

Head Flexpoint Prestige vs Youtek Prestige

I must admit that for the last 10-12 years I strung all my frames with the same setup – Wilson NXT17 for mains and Luxilon AluPower 125/120 for crosses. Tec X-One BiPhase 1.24mm is more powerful, but you lose a bit of control in comparison to NXT17.
  8. Songs For A Dead Pilot

Head Flexpoint Prestige vs Youtek Prestige

I would say IG Prestige MP – but the thing is I do use prostock of them – TGT 293 both .1 for 16x19 (slightly stiffer) and .2 for 18x20. With extra silicone instead of metal for weight – they feel much better. But even if I would need to pick up the retail one – I would choose IG Prestige MP...
  9. Songs For A Dead Pilot

Head Flexpoint Prestige vs Youtek Prestige

Can you imagine, I haven't spent too much time with it for the last four years? I strung it with full bed of NXT17 – and it was a bad idea. This one needs at least hybrid – but for sure something with control and power. The racket is slighly muted, less feedback than IG Prestige MP or even...
  10. Songs For A Dead Pilot

    Mikeler's Multis

Just came accros this thread as the user of NXT17 and AluPower 125 hybrid user for over 12 years. Tested: Tecnifibre X-One BiPhase 1.24mm (really good, crip – but with less feedback/touch than NXT – don't know why – felt bad in Pro Tour 2.0) Babolat Xcel Premium (comfort with bad feel – to...

Chopping and slicing TGT291.2 to see how it's built.

Head Pro Tour 2.0, 293.2 and 293.1 are my favorite frames!

Chopping and slicing TGT291.2 to see how it's built.

@JGads I feel I am coming back to this one after our hitting with all Radicals possible – including TGK231 and TGT260.5.

HEAD – Best modern Prestige 95" racket (16x19)

Have you had a chance to hit other frames with this mold? I am wondering if Auxetic 2 Prestige Tour is softer and less stiff than the first Auxetic.

HEAD – Best modern Prestige 95" racket (16x19)

Not sure if any of you have seen this thread – inside TGT 291.2 https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/index.php?threads/chopping-and-slicing-tgt291-2-to-see-how-its-built.595723/#post-15851631
  15. Songs For A Dead Pilot

HEAD – Best modern Prestige 95" racket (16x19)

Never tried TC95, but I didn't like TC97. However I really like the first incarnation of Dunlop CX200 Tour (a bit stiffer than CX 2.0 Tour) – haven't tried the 2nd and 3rd (current one). The most stable frame at 305SW strung. Graphene Prestige Pro was a bit stiffer version of Graphene Prestige...

HEAD – Best modern Prestige 95" racket (16x19)

I thought the same and really forced myself to think that way. But – the point is – I prefer layup, weight distribution and extra beam as additional power factor than bigger head size. I simply don't like the mix of thinner beam and bigger head size. The same way I do not like Prince Phantom...

HEAD – Best modern Prestige 95" racket (16x19)

Dear Readers! I am a huge fan of 95" frames. It still feels like the best head size to me. Since classic 95" 18x20 frames are gone – I still feel this is the best HEAD frame available on the retail market. I was wondering what are your favorite frames from the list above – I must admit I liked...

Prestige Auxetic 2.0 – glossy edition.

Hi! Does any of you have hi-res photos of glossy edition (pro stock I guess) of current Auxetic 2.0 Prestige line? Who does still endorse these rackets? Cilić, anyone else? Thanks.
  19. Songs For A Dead Pilot

    Best Head Prestige MP line?

Not sure if this is good or not – I still use the same rackets. Best feel – Head PT 2.0 Best in action – Head TGT 293.1 I stopped using H22 or Blades Pro. I might sell my Tf40 as well. Instead I might come back to playing again with 292.1 (Graphene Prestige S) or older Radicals (IG Radical...

Wilson Shift - why not Prince O3 Hybrid Tour 18x20?

I woukd be more than happy to hit with that frame.

Best tennis shoes for plantar fasciitis (heel pain).

Hi! I had severe pain thanks to plantar fasciitis for 6-7 weeks. Right now I decided for shock wave therapy, but I need some shoes that will be more comfortable for my heel. What do you suggest?
  22. Songs For A Dead Pilot

Wilson Six One Team 95 Magic Stick !

I am mainly a HEAD guy, but I must admit – 6.1 line was the best Wilson ever released for me.
  23. Songs For A Dead Pilot

    2022 Auxetic Prestige Pro

After testing Auxetic Prestige Pro for a couple of months I decided to sell it. Can't match my 293.2 and 291.1 frames as well as PT2.0. I do love the feel of that frame (especially my 345.2), but I do miss the precision, predictability and stability of the 95" frame.
  24. Songs For A Dead Pilot

    Head Auxetic Radical

Unfortunately, Auxetic Radical still looks bad to me. Much inferior to the design of Graphene Prestige.
  25. Songs For A Dead Pilot

The most underrated frames of all times? contemporary? by sales?

I would say that these five frames: Dunlop Aerogel 200 Dunlop Biomimetic 200 Dunlop PT924 Head YouTek Prestige MP (also TGK238.4, 238.5) Head Graphene Prestige S (also TGT291.2)
  26. Songs For A Dead Pilot

    The Cult of PT57

I must admit I also love that racket - slightly higher stiffness, great ball pocketing. A friend of mine - tested variant non-CAP grommet setups, but they were never as good as original CAP one.
  27. Songs For A Dead Pilot

    2022 Auxetic Prestige Pro

IG Prestige MP is way better frame. Better feel, more stable, much more precise.

Head Pro Tour 280 OS / 690: Any info, and a question

    So the original PT630, Radical Tour 630 and PT2.0 are 20mm – both share the same mold. And these were all 21mm: 2001 – i.Prestige MP (TK57E mold?) 2004 – Liquidmetal Prestige MP (do you know the mold @dr325i/ @vsbabolat ) 2006 – FlexPoint Prestige MP 2008 – Microgel Presitge MP (TK238) 2010 –...
