yeah, yonex is really messing with the feel...the 2022 version is muted like the 2020 version...but with a slightly more controlled feel (aka less powerful)

i used the ai100 and still use the dr100 now...

agreed....they have gone downhill a bit since the DR...i actually used the (2018) ezone 100 version for a while after the dr...but eventually went back....the 2020 version, was way too "dull" and lacked any kind of feedback / feel...

i hope they improved the feel of the new ezone (i'm still using the DR100)...the last version felt a little "dull" and more "muted" - bring back the "crispy" DR100 feel...

i haven't hit too many more balls with the frame....so i can't really comment on it...

i'll probably replace the grip to the skin feel too...the stock grip thickness is a bit much...

of course :) and i agree...the paint job is really nice on this...i thought the racquet played very well for it's weight - mine is 329g (that's strung with an overgrip and dampener)...

it has a little more power / pop than the ezone 98 line...i'm a dr100 user and i would say this frame sits in between the ezone 98 and ezone 100 frames in terms of power I'm going to get more time with the frame today....so i'll keep you posted!

it feels pretty solid...i sort of liked the Pure Drive VS...but this just feels more pleasant than that frame....there's this subtle flex that's nice to the aero vs... the new Aero VS has a much more solid feel than the previous version (makes sense since the old one was 295g i think) this...

it's improving...so let's go!!

similar-ish to the pure drive...maybe somewhere between the pure drive, and the current yonex blue frames... the "yonex" on the side didn't look to be a bright white or a grey - somewhere in between... i don't remember what the 98 or 100 looked like...maybe it was black? there are also some...

i'm not pre-stretching or kinking the strings either - i'll get weird snappage while stringing - or even weird breakage on mishits on the grommets too...that's happened a few times recently with the BHS7T... with that said...i enjoy the string...
