Thanks, nice point on the difference between the BP 22 and 24; I had a chance to demo the BP 22 in the past, and I found that sometimes I was hitting long for "no reason". And yes, tjhat racquet had some raw power indeed :)

It makes sense to me. When I tested the previous Boom Pro 2022, I found it quite a powerfull frame to be considered control oriented. Had to apply serious spin to keep the ball in. The result were "heavy" deep balls, nice attribute on clay. Also quite "lauchy" at times, but could be my wrong...

I played the GT, liked it overall, just a bit "stiff" feeling and a bit underpowered. Heads states the Prestige a bit more powerful than the Gravity (400 vs 300 cpi), now can anyone compare the two frames? Thanks

It looks like Head is releasing a new version every 2 years: Boom, Radical, Extreme, Gravity, they all had it. Why not the Prestige line? Any thought?

Thanks @Dberger820 but I tested the VCore 98 and found it has too high of a lauch angle, in spite of a very nice feeling. Also tested the VCore 95 and liked it much more. Maybe it's for the shape of the head but it plays bigger than a 95 sqi. All in all, I would like to stay with the Head lineup

I LOVE this kind of engineering discussion :) Definetly, you're right on the nice feeling of a constant boxed beam. I need to find some time and test again few racquets; Boom Pro as a minimum. Meanwhile, I could also add some lead to the MP at 3&9 and see how it goes with more mass in the head...

Thanks! I thought the Speed MP may be the right compromise, but when I demoed it... it felt hollow and with a "wrong" combo of light weight and high swingweight. It left me with a feeling like "so, what?". All in all, I don't like the Speed :(

I agree with you, just demoed for 2 wks and it felt ok for my arm. Yet it's listed at 62 RA on TW website, so the above numbers look strange to me.

I demoed 2 wks the boom mp, and I did some test adding weight. Please note that I'm an intermediate player, only play on clay so big flat shots aren't that common. 2 grams at 12... Ok for flatter power, but missing some of the easy access to spin. 6 grams inside the throat... Not bad, more...
