    Finally ditching the flexpoint

ClubHoUno, you've been unbelievably helpful. I think I'll order both the storm and the pb10 and see how each feels. I don't get into the net too often so the storm's deficiencies there may not bother me too much. Of course I'm going in with an open mind and can't wait to give both a run.

    Finally ditching the flexpoint

ClubHoUno, what do you think about the beam width on the storm? Maybe a strange question, but I really like thinner beams and am worried the 21 mm on the bab may be a little bulky. I sometimes get that feeling on my prestige, which is also 21mm wide. Please let me know your thoughts on...

    Finally ditching the flexpoint

Looking for some feedback here: Been using the Flexpoint Prestige Midplus for a few years now. Like it a lot but have found it lacking in spin. Looking to switch to a more spin-friendly racquet (probably moving away from 18x20) of approximately the same weight. Comfortable with maybe a touch...

I had the 5s and loved them and I like the 6s, too.

    Demo List

Thanks for the tip on the N6.1 95. I hit with it back when it was new(ish) and wasn't a huge fan, but who knows now. Unfortunately, getting a hold of a few might be an issue.

    Demo List

I'm looking to demo some racquets to find a replacement for my Flexpoint Prestige MP. Definitely looking to go with a more open string pattern and more weight than the stock Prestige Mp - I had mine leaded to 12.7 oz or so. So far I'm, thinking: K6.1 90: have the Asian version leaded and am a...

    Nike is the new Prince

I'm not saying that this is true, but it is worth noting that Prince and Nike have some sort of agreement for Nike Tennis Camps. The balls are Prince and every picture in the brochure shows a player using a Prince racquet. It's been this way for a few years at least.

    The Big Switch

The Asian is lighter, but with the lead I added I don't know if that's true. I guess a logical choice would be the regular K90 but when I demoed it I wasn't so big on it. Of course that was a while ago so I should probably give it another shot.

    The Big Switch

Thanks a lot, man; I'm definitely going to give the tecnifibre a try as I really liked the old TFight 335 16x20 when I played with it. I'm not really committed to the head grip shape - I never really noticed it that much so I'm really open to suggestions.

    The Big Switch

I've been playing with the Head Flexpoint Prestige MP for the last 3 years and have been happy with it until recently. I also acquired a Wilson KSix-One Tour Asian about a year ago and hadn't really played with it. About a month ago I decided to practice with the Wilson and I was really happy...

    Vapor VI White/Metallic

TW, a competitor of yours has the Vapor VI tours in the white/metallic colorway with the RF logo at the heel. When can we loyal customers expect these to be available on TW?

    Federer Hat White/Gold

Don't know if this has been asked or answered yet, but: Will TW be getting the Nike Federer RF Hat in the White/Gold Wimbledon colorway? I saw it on a competitor's site but I'd much prefer to give the business to TW if you'll be receiving stock. Thanks

Tecnifibre X-Tra Replacement Grip Red ?

Having used it as a replacement grip, I see no way that it could be used as an overgrip in the traditional sense. Its thickness is similar to other replacement grips, and it is cushioned, unlike overgrips. If you're wondering about performance, I liked it a lot and would recommend it.

    New Tennis Shoes...

I've had the Vapor IIs, IVs and currently the Vs. Out of all of them I like the Fives the best, although the Vs are pretty similar to the IVs. Definitely go for the Vs, though.

Don't be shy. We all know that was with only your pinky. ;)

Wilson K frames in hand-watch out!

Ah ha ha, well yes, it's clear that you're committed to your US K90s. I really can't argue with a man with ten+ of the same frame.

Wilson K frames in hand-watch out!

Yeah, I really enjoyed hitting with it but it proved too difficult for me to maintain my normal level of play in longer hitting sessions, which wouldn't have boded well for competitive tennis.

Wilson K frames in hand-watch out!

Craig, if you don't mind me asking... How much "easier" is it to play with the AK90 than the K90? I ask because I just bought an AK90 sight unseen and when I demoed the K90 it was too much for me. Thanks

    Asian K90 Strings

Just bought an Asian K90 off the 'bay. Can't wait to get it. Quick question: Any string combos that played really well in the AK90 for you guys? I'm usually a multifilament guy, but I'd be interested to hear of any awesome stringjobs in the AK90 that I might try out.

Flexpoint Prestige Midplus vs. Donnay Pro One Midplus

I currently use a Flexpoint Prestige MP and was wondering how it compared to the Donnay Pro One MP. That $99.99 price tag is tempting. Anyway, does anyone have any comparisons of power, spin, flex, etc.?

difference between fxp prestige mid and volkl dnx 10 mid

I have used both of them. The Prestige felt so much more solid to me than the DNX 10, which felt a bit squishy(if one call call it this?) to me. While the Prestige had a crisp feeling, I never got that from the DNX 10. I liked the Prestige better and stuck with it. Bear in mind, I used the...

Differences between Synthetic Gut and Multifilament strings ?

As far as string construction is concerned, synguts are comprised of a single fiber - a solid core, while multis have many fibers/filaments twisted to create the string. Multifilaments are generally said to have more playability than synguts, but it's better to evaluate each string individually...

    Dunlop Max Comfort 17: Wow

I haven't heard much about the PSGM but I'll definitely give it a try at some point in the future. Are you recommending the head to head trial because you think the Prince is a better string?

    Dunlop Max Comfort 17: Wow

I'm glad to see some good feedback on this string as it seems that it doesn't get a lot of love from the community here. Maybe it's because the string is from Dunlop, a company not known for its strings, but it seems to me a relatively cheap multi with good playing characteristics would find...

    Dunlop Max Comfort 17: Wow

I just strung this up in my flexpoint prestige and really like it. Nice feel, good power, very soft - all the things I look for in my strings. The price is amazing, too. Having tried most of the expensive multifilaments I was expecting to be disappointed but, on the contrary, I was pleasantly...

    Head Flexpoint Prestige Issue

With the release and apparent success of the Microgel Prestige line, it looks like my current racquet of choice, the Flexpoint Prestige Midplus, is being discontinued. TW no longer has any and the competitors have few. I assume the racquet will disappear from authorized retailers pretty soon and...
