Head Liquidmetal Radical MP- still worth buying in 2025?

It's a great racquet if you're good enough to use it. Which I am not haha. I have one that is Czech made in excellent condition I'd let go of if you're interested. @tennispro492

    Cutting Down a 2021 Vcore 98+ 2021 (advice)

Bought a couple of these a while back thinking they were standard length. Not really liking the extra 1/2 inch. Thinking of cutting it to standard and weighting it up to spec. Possibly cutting it to 27.25 or 27.2". Does anyone have experience doing this to one of these? Would like to know how it...

Donnay Pro one 107 Octa (Anybody hit one?)

I ordered one off Amazon. It wasn't a bad stick at all. Just didn't work out for me. The guy I sold it to loved it though. Even bought himself another one or two.

My 97 to 100 sq. in. demo journey (to replace my aging C10 Pros / help my aging body)

You could very well be right. But for me it didn’t seem to slow the frame down, and gave it that something certain it was missing. But definitely possible the extra weight would slow it down for others.

My 97 to 100 sq. in. demo journey (to replace my aging C10 Pros / help my aging body)

Add a little lead at 3&9 and some on the handle of the Prince Tour 98. You won't be disappointed.

Scrambling my head to choose a new racquet!

I'd recommend the Prince ATS Tour 98, Head Gravity Pro or Tour, and Diadem Elevate Tour. The Percept 100D would fit your game too, but I found the feel to be atrocious personally.

    Prince Official - Racquets

Add a little lead at 3&9 and some weight in the handle of the ATS 98. It transforms it

    Prince Official - Racquets

I agree. I didn’t like it at first, but it was the string that was the issue for me. I ended up liking a control multi like Velocity in the mid 50’s

    Prince Official - Racquets

The Synergy 98 isn’t whippy at all, but it isn’t clunky. It’s shines at counter punching and driving through the ball.

    Recs for new racquet?

Give the Prince ATS 98 a go. Really good pop, but still very controlled. If it's not forgiving enough the ATS 100 310 is good also.

Thin beamed racquets that offer a bit more power?

    True. I’d say thin-ish I suppose.

Thin beamed racquets that offer a bit more power?

Check out the Prince ATS Tour 98. Has some serious pop and loads of control.

Anything better than a Gravity Pro? Dunlop CX400 Tour or Yonex Percept 100D perhaps ?

I meant I was being harsh by calling the feel wretched. And I do think strings could possibly change my mind. But the feel was so far off for me that idk if I’m willing to put the time and money into it. Still love Yonex though.

Anything better than a Gravity Pro? Dunlop CX400 Tour or Yonex Percept 100D perhaps ?

Yeah, I was talking about the 100D. "Wretched" was definitely overly harsh. Wasn't that bad. But felt really disconnected to me. I was just really stoked for it. It was a demo, so part of me still wants to pick one up and try different strings. But I'm not too hopeful it will make a big enough...

Anything better than a Gravity Pro? Dunlop CX400 Tour or Yonex Percept 100D perhaps ?

I agree. It seems every time a racquet has specs I’m very excited about, it has wretched feel.

Yonex 97 Version with Firmest Hoop?

Duel G 97 was another one I left out

Yonex 97 Version with Firmest Hoop?

Yeah, those are the proper stiffness but they are Vcore 95 or 98. I’m talking g about the Vcore Tour 97, Tour G 97, Vcore Pro 97 blue and orange, Vcore Pro 97 Emerald Green, the last Vcore Pro 97, and Percept 97. Thank you for the suggestions. I do love the SV 95, but I’m not quite good enough...

Yonex 97 Version with Firmest Hoop?

Think g about picking up a Yonex 97. Most likely the 310 version to customize it, but not opposed to the 330. I prefer a firmer hoop, but doesn’t need to be high total RA. Which version from the original red Vcore Tour to the Percept 97 would you say has the firmest hoop in your opinion?

Anything better than a Gravity Pro? Dunlop CX400 Tour or Yonex Percept 100D perhaps ?

I’m a plow junkie when it comes to racquets also. Unfortunately that doesn’t translate to a whippy feel. The one current racquet other than the Gravity Pro I can think of that might fit your bill somewhat is the Prince Synergy 98. Drives through the ball very nice. I recommend a controlled multi...

Slightly more power and manuverable Gravity Pro

If you don't mind an older racquet you could try track down a Head Youtek Speed MP 18x20. Same mold shape as the Gravity's. Slightly stiffer at 65RA, and lower swing weight (317) that you could add a little weight to.

    Prince Synergy 98

I love the club like sensation. Big fan of the Db26 too. I just had lack of feel with the 98. Does that improve with a lower tension? I currently string at 54# with a control based multi.

Reviews vs Reality. Blade 98 v8 and Prince ATS Textreme Tour 98

I use either Head Velocity or Tecnifibre Multifeel. Both in black at 54lbs. Though I may give it a go with a soft poly in the crosses one day soon. I'm not much of a string breaker, so a poly would normally go dead before my multi wears out.

    Prince Beast 98?

Hi TW staff. Will you be getting the new Beast 98 in anytime soon? Also, thanks again for all you do.

Prince ATS Tour 98 vs Prince ATS 95?

Thanks for the reply. I found the 98 maneuverable. But that’s probably because my previous racquet was pretty clunky. I’m a plow addict though. I’d have a hard time downgrading on the serve. It’s one of my favorite things about the 98.

Prince ATS Tour 98 vs Prince ATS 95?

I’m digging the ATS 98 a lot. Was wondering if anyone out there had hit it and the 95 a good bit? Wondering about the differences in the racquet. Such as control, sweet spot, and plow. Or any thing that comes to mind. Thank you in advance!

Reviews vs Reality. Blade 98 v8 and Prince ATS Textreme Tour 98

I had the opposite experience in a way. I stayed away from the Prince 98 after initial feedback on here after it came out. Picked one up on a trade and it lived up to the hype for me. I recommend putting a multi in the mains or even a full bed. First hit for me was a full bed of velocity. I was...

    Prince Official - Racquets

I don't play whippy and like to get in front of the ball and use plow. I can definitely handle a 344 sw, especially with that thin beam. At least for a while, haha. We'll see about a whole match I guess.

    Prince Official - Racquets

I'll have to give this a go. I bought one years ago, and put it in my closet after an hour. I some lead (not nearly this much), and it was completely anemic. But now I'm intrigued.
