    Ml100 badminton stringing

No problem! I already replied to your other thread. There isn't much you can about the 1st cross string. You have to use flying clamps when going through the cross strings. Between 20 - 28 lbs, you can rely on two flying clamps. Anything higher you would need three or even four, applied in...

Looking for a good starting/flying clamp for ML100/MS200TT

A starting clamp will not help at all if you start the first cross from the top. Just insert badminton flying clamps into the first string: one to the left of the centre head support and one to the right. The flying clamps will not hold well without an anchor string, but they are better than...

    Ml100 badminton stringing

You will have significant tension loss if you start the cross from the throat and work towards the head. That's not a starting clamp but a Yonex flying clamp. The tooth floss has one end tied into a loop and is used to get the cross string through the shared grommets (main and cross strings...

I believe you clamped and tensioned the wrong string, in the middle of the video. Here is the user's manual: http://206.210.94.83/assets/manuals/pdf/X-6FC.pdf

As soon as TW forum members see photos on LF's website and others post photos here, we will believe the hype. Until then, let's move to something else . . .

Str!ngway/Laserfibre drop-weight machines and string slack

I also double pull each string (main and cross). For single-action fixed clamps users, get another pair of single-action fixed clamps. Or get a starting clamp. For each main string, apply the starting clamp or extra single-action fixed clamp after the first pull. Release main string from...

Tensioning the first main with fixed clamps w/ Alpha Pioneer DC Plus

shintan17, You can tighten the knobs to the fixed clamps. Just make sure you place the string between the height of the teeth. Alternatively, you can use a starting clamp as a buffer in addition to the fixed clamp.

    Alpha Pioneer DC Plus...

Congrat on your purchase! I string badminton racquets to 29 lbs main and 32 lbs cross . Theoretically, the head and throat posts should just touch. However, if you have loadspreaders, you can tighten the head quite a bit more. The main issue is not the floating thing but the fit and...

Alpha Pioneer DC plus and questions...

If you receive the Alpha badminton fixed clamps, make sure you clamp the string higher up. Higher up means in the middle of the height of the teeth. The bottom part has no or minimum diamond dust and the string will slip.

Alpha Pioneer DC plus and questions...

My DC Plus also have this problem. Apparently, the factory workers drilled the holes that you insert the black side supports into a bit too big. Hence, the black side supports wiggle (tilt) upward after the racket is mounted and during tensioning. I got a replacement mounting column from...

    Floating vs. Fixed Clamps

Smart tensioning system is easier to use than traditional drop-weight tensioner. For the Quantum, I think you can upgrade later to fixed clamps.

    New Alpha stringing machines!

There is no question or doubt about quality of the LF/SW's direct mounting (inside) system. The sticks are pressed down so tightly that they can not rotate or move during the tensioning process. But to achieve that kind of tightness, I have to really tighten those black knobs. Six-point is...
