    Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

I agree with that 100% except the GR9s kill my feet. I have tried them three times since they added the "Dynawrap System" and all three times had to return them as they crushed my foot. The other four definitely the Top 4 shoes on the market + the Yonex Ad Accel. So my Top 5 are: 1) Yonex...

    Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

Yonex Eclipsion 5 for the win.

    Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

The Lacoste is also a great shoe, but there is just not enough forefoot cushioning. I even tried them with an insole, but it did not resolve the issue. Both the Yonex Eclision 5 and Ad Accel are more comfortable and as quick on the court. The Eclipsion 5 is more comfortable and stable than the...

    Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

Some have reported heel slippage as an issue in the new WET2. I am sitting on the fence until some reviews come out to confirm this. The ankle system on the WET1 was a big part of what made that shoe so special.
  5. The Big Kahuna

    Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

I would personally rank Mizuno and Yonex ahead of Asics at this time in terms of overall playability - I have tried them all. Hard to pick between the Yonex Eclipsion 5 and the Mizuno WET2 for best overall shoe, but both of these would be on my Top 5 List for sure - maybe Top 2!
  6. The Big Kahuna

    Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

According to Mizuno Customer Service "The Enforce Tour 2 will have an improved outsole design, updated and improved ankle/heel/shoe alignment, and a redesigned upper material to provide highest level of softness and flexibility."

    Solinco Confidential 3.0B

Word from my Solinco rep is this string will be released “in three weeks” now. Look for something to happen on around February 15. He raves about the stuff. Much softer than Confidential, but much better control than Hyper G soft.
  8. The Big Kahuna

Tour Bite and Confidential Stiffness ratings

Would this also be the case between the same gauge Hyper-G and Confidential? What about Tour Bite Soft and Hyper-G? The stiffness things on TW call all this into question. Solinco Strings by Stiffness (16g): Hyper-G Round - 226 Confidential - 222 Hyper-G - 219 Tour Bite - 203 Tour Bite Soft...

Please explain Solinco Tour Bite stiffness for 16L

Look at the rating between TB 18 and TB 19! Then put it in the context of what TB 20 then tests out at. Very curious.
  10. The Big Kahuna

Please explain Solinco Tour Bite stiffness for 16L

I found the same confusing issues and looking at the entire Solinco line stiffness ratings on TW. It seems to reflect contradictory information to the prevailing thinking that Tour Bite is the stiffest string in the third line and Hyper G is the softest with Confidential in between. Solinco...

    Yonex AD-ACCEL

How was the stability compared to the Solution Speed FF3s?
  12. The Big Kahuna

    Yonex AD-ACCEL

Very nice feedback here! Thank you. Same question to you - How would you compare with other speed shoes on the market right now that you have tried based on overall performance (outside of the Yonex brand)? I am thinking specifically of the Mizuno Exceed Tour 6, the Asics Solution Speed FF3, the...
  13. The Big Kahuna

    Yonex AD-ACCEL

Better tongue than the Mizuno I am betting. How would you compare with other speed shoes on the market right now that you have tried based on overall performance?
  14. The Big Kahuna

    Yonex AD-ACCEL

Why does Foot Doctor Zach compare them so often to the Nike GPTs then? Do you see any similarities?
  15. The Big Kahuna

    Yonex AD-ACCEL

Reminds me of the Lacoste AG LT Ultra. Has anyone played on both?
  16. The Big Kahuna

    The Lacoste Club

Can anyone tell me what - if anything - was updated in the recent "update" of the Lacoste AG-LT Ultra (formerly the AG-LT 23 Ultra)?
  17. The Big Kahuna

    Lacoste AG-LT23 and LT23 Lite

TW is saying there will be no more AG LT-23 Ultras. This is why they are unavailable now almost everywhere. Ne updated AG LT-25 Ultra due now after the first of the year. That's the word.
  18. The Big Kahuna

    Yonex AD-ACCEL

I am very curious to see what Zach means in his review about having the sensation that you could ROLL in these shoes, even though he claims that are stable. If you think you are going to roll (stable or not) - as he pointed out - could that actually lead to more ankle rolls? It was a curious...

The "String your Poly at 40" challenge thread

I have been really enjoying the ultra low tensions the last six months in my Babolat Pure Aero + 2023. I started with the Jack Sock set-up of BABOLAT RPM ROUGH 17 strung @ 35# and it played wonderfully - good power, good spin, good control, nice feel, decent pocketing - all the boxes got...

    Toroline

Anything is a cross string is you want it to be. Ideally you're looking for something that is slick and slippery for the main strings to slide over that doesn't facilitate notching in the mains. Some of the best are: Yonex Pro Tour FIRE 1.20; Weiss CANNON Silverstring 17; MSV Co-Focus 17L...
  21. The Big Kahuna

    Toroline

Personally, the Grapplesnake line of strings feel to me you be superior formulations to almost anything out there - especially Toroline. Where Toroline excels is with one really good string (Toro Toro) and super sales and marketing IMO. Nothing in the Toroline roaster feels anything close to...
  22. The Big Kahuna

    Toroline

Yes. That is TORO TORO + Wasabi X. See above.
  23. The Big Kahuna

    Toroline

I have hit with both TORO TORO hybrids (Enso Pro and Wasabi X) mentioned above. Although the Wasabi X is stated by Toroline to be a softer string, I found the Enzo pro plays a little more open and softer in my Ballot Pure Aero. Both have wonderful bite and control but both hybrids lack much...

    New 2023 Yonex VCore 100+ ?

Is there a review coming for this new Yonex VCore 100+ 2023 now that it is out? I would be very interested to see how it compares with the Yonex Ezone 100+, Babolat Pure Aero 100+, and Solinco Blackout XTD.

    Solinco Whiteout Users Club

Same here. It does not feel like an 18 x 20 - but has the control of one.
  26. The Big Kahuna

    Racquet Of The Year 2023

Absolutely the SOLINCO WHITEOUT 18x20 XTD. Best racquet of the 2023 hands down!
  27. The Big Kahuna

    Solinco Whiteout Users Club

Loving my SOLINCO WHITEOUT 18x20 XTD. Like many of you, I have been almost exclusively a 16 x 19 user, but this racquet is special IMO. As I play exclusively doubles, I wanted the most pocketing and feel possible in the stringed so settled on a Wilson Natural Gut17 / Tier 1 Ghostwire 19 hybrid...

Mizuno wave enforce tour vs Gel Resolutions?

I much prefer the Mizuno Wave Enforce Tours in every way to any of the Asics shoes last this time.

    Solinco Whiteout 98 18/20 vs Ezone 2022 98

As a tennis-enthusiast, I'm happy to offer my feedback on the Solinco Whiteout 305 XTD 18x20 tennis racquet. Firstly, I must say that this is an incredible racquet. It's designed with advanced technology and engineering, making it highly responsive on the court. The racquet provides players with...
