I know a lot of hs players post asking about the level of DIII players so I thought these videos would be interesting to watch. Just keep in mind CMU is a top DIII tennis team so this may not be representative of the level other other DIII schools. Actually this is a match against DI Robert...

    Prince Ozone Tour MP String?

Yep, you really need full poly with the ozone tour. So much power and anything else breaks so fast. My favorite has been lux alu power or orginal, but I just got mine this month so I still have a lot of testing to go. Good luck keep us updated.

Ah, so youre Mr10sStringer on Youtube. I've watched your videos before! Nice video, didn't get to watch all of it but just noticed on the front part some parts weren't in the camera shot. But, not a big issue, enjoyed the rest of the video that I did watch.

    Strings for Tecnifibre 320 V02

i loved a poly/multi combo in the 320, but it breaks really fast. A couple of my favorites were black code/nxt, pro hurricane/excel...string in the 60s, usually 62 for me...if you prefer full poly a softer one is better. My favorite was cyberblue, amazing in this racquet. The racquet is very...

Nothing to say about the KPS88 since I don't have experience with it, but just wanted to say I enjoyed this report simply because it reminds me of all the technical lab reports I've been writing as an engineer in college. Best way to widen grommet without grommet widener

I did use a starting clamp. However, the normal tie off hole is the hole where the main ends in my case.

Best way to widen grommet without grommet widener

You're right in retrospect an ATW pattern would of worked as well, but I wanted to give the box pattern a shot and it looks sweet in this particular frame.

Best way to widen grommet without grommet widener

When I say 4T, the T designates TOP rather than throat. I did a Box Pattern as per this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leF-1wZeEeM As you can see, the fifth main on the SS is where the tie off (5T or 5H in your case). With the box pattern, you have to tie off on 4H (aka 4T). Thus, the...

Best way to widen grommet without grommet widener

Did a box pattern on a Blx90 last night to avoid the wicked blocked whole on the last two crosses and ended up having to widen a grommet to fit the short side main tieoff (4T). Had a hell of a time since I didn't have a grommet widener. Is there a easy way to do this?

Drak, do you know the racket specs of Tipsarevic, Dr Ivo and Berankis???

Drak, you are my hero. You seem to be really enjoying your job and I wish nothing but the best! Perhaps you can start a thread where you post up your pics/stories/pro gear knowledge from your stringing experiences (or is there one already)? That would be awesome read!

newbie saying hello, with racquet question

Hello and welcome! I think the Blx or KFactor 6.1 95s would probably be your most equivalant modern day racquet although they arent box beamed, but I'm not sure if they are more forgiving. I would say check out the Dunlop 200 or 300 series. They are great classic box beamed quality racquets.
