Klippermate vs. Gamma Progression II 200

Hello I know there's more other threads about these stringers but I want recent suggestions especially for my thread. I've heard from these forums that the Klippermate clamps are much easier to use than the Gamma ones but the Gamma clutch makes the job easier and faster. I'm new in stringing...

    Racquet Customization Help

Will it be fine if I put lead at 12oclock? Doesn't putting lead at 12 put the sweetspot a little higher? What is the difference at 3 and 9oclock?

    Racquet Customization Help

Hi I'm looking to customize my racquet and make it a little more heavy in the head by adding lead tape. My racquet is 10.7 oz or 303g strung, 16x18 string pattern and is 7pts HL unstrung and 3pts HL strung. Taking the strung balance and weight into consideration, how many grams of lead tape will...

    Racquet Weight Distribution

Hello I see that on TW that one of my Wilson racquets balance says 3pts HL but on the racquet throat it says 7pts HL. Another racquet says 1pt HH online on TW but on the racquet throat itself it says 3pts HL. My question is: Which number should I trust to be the true balance weight? Why are the...

Nat gut as main or cross in poly hybrid?

Not necessarily if you have a smooth poly in the crosses.

Blasphemy: Natural Gut, Okay but nothing special

I liked natural gut the first time. But the second and third time I started hating it and stopped using it. For me it felt too mushy and I wasn't able to get that pop that I get from poly. But it's only personal preference.

My thoughts on polyesters and arm health

True. I've been using Luxilon poly since I started out playing tennis and have been using it since then and I've had no arm problems whatsoever.

But is NXT Control low powered and control oriented? I'm looking for a nice power string since I'm an aggressive player.

Wilson NXT vs NXT Tour vs NXT Power vs NXT Max vs NXT Control

I've not tried any of the wilson NXT strings and would like to try the one that is best for me. My play style is an aggressive baseliner that loves to hit hard and get winners. Also I go to the net on a few occasions which is like 30-40% in a match and have powerful serves.

Wilson NXT vs NXT Tour vs NXT Power vs NXT Max vs NXT Control

Hello What is the difference of these strings? How do they play compared to one another and how is their feel?
  17. S

    Arm friendly string

They played you and tried your tennis elbow to get worse. RPM is very stiff and I didn't like it at all. Your best bet would be natural gut. If it's too expensive and you want to decrease the cost then you can also use a hybrid with Pacific Classic Gut in mains and MSV CoFocus in the crosses...

Will a synthetic gut have the same feel as a multifilament?

No. Multi has a little close playability of natural gut. And synthetic is very different from multis

what makes a player a stringbreaker?

Basically hitting with a lot of topspin and power. Yes hitting hard and resulting in strings breaking faster than others

Babolat Play and Connect: Wilson response?

It costs about $25-50 to make it and the companies are just trying to eat all the money by earning high amounts of profits.

    String Savers and Natural Gut

Yes you can but when I first put on string savers, I made an estimate of the usual places of where I snap strings most. I added about 10-15 right after the stringing and then started playing. Then I saw where the strings are fraying most and added a couple more accordingly.

(gut/poly) If money is no object...

Totally. I tried it once and loved it
  25. S

    String Savers and Natural Gut

Yeah you don't want your string bed to be too stiff. Use like 10-15 string savers max.

Swingweight: How long did it take to adjust to heavier SW

Swingweight: How long did it take to adjust to heavier SW

I have switched from a lower sw to a higher sw and for me it does take a while to adapt. I didn't have any fatigues or muscle injuries but I found myself hitting late on most strokes at first and not being prepared early. I went from a 290 SW to a 310 SW and it took me about 2-3 months to really...

    New Pro Staff pricing...

It's just not worth buying it... It's actually the same racquet and just a new paintjob and Wilson is playing with our minds. I'd rather buy the 2013 prostaff at a cheaper price now than buy a new one since I'm also not a big fan of the new paintjob.
