Possible to add 3 7/8 pallet to a regular sized racquet or

much thanks amigos. I will try to find a 4" and do the thin grip. If I didn't have kids I would totally be going custom balsa wood grip route. Don't even have time to hit these days :(

Possible to add 3 7/8 pallet to a regular sized racquet or

Yea I think I have an extra babolat thin grip. Ok what about just taking the pallet off? Is that too small? Reading more about junior racquets I probably should not get her a junior racquet and just modify an adult racquet.

Possible to add 3 7/8 pallet to a regular sized racquet or

My sister in law has tiny hands and wants to learn tennis. Her hand was sized to be 3 7/8 or a junior 25" racquet. What's the best option here for an adult with small hands? Buy 25" racquet or add pallet or buy a 26" with 4" grip and use thin grip?

    Yonex PolyTour REV

Yea Alu Power feels sublime but is dead after two hours. Polystrike feels firmer and gives me two weeks. I'm curious how this one will feel. Closer to RPM maybe with less tension loss I hope.

    Yonex PolyTour REV

Just saw a youtube review on these as a new FIRM string. I was browsing TW string comparison and noticed they posted specs on it already. Looks similar to ALU. I already stocked up on PolyTour Strike but am curious about this set. Can't find more information on it...

Do leather grips have large variation in weight?

Are there tips for buying leather grips and sizing them to match weight? Or is this all done with lead afterwards? What I tried was wrapping one and then using the left over piece as a template to size the next one. Due to variation in weight I would try to trim.

Do leather grips have large variation in weight?

I assume like racquets there's manufacturer variation in weight for all products. I'm not going to cry over a fraction of a gram but I bought 3 Head leather replacement grips and just assumed they would be within a gram of each other given equal length. However, one of them was over 3 grams...

Larger frame with tighter string pattern better in general?

I've been playing with a VCORE Tour G 330 (97sq in with 16x20) for a few years with leather and lead 3 and 9. Love it and wanted to update them to the newest iteration, the emeralds. Out of curiosity I added the HD and because I could add another racquet I said what the hell I'll try Gravity...

    Custom Molded Handles

Supposedly they do like Federer. I think they had a recent video of the guy who customized federer's racquet. Maybe RNY IIRC

VCORE PRO HD vs VCORE 95

I had short demo with both and I play a leather, lead 3-9 orange Vcore 330. I still prefer the new Vcore Pros but I am undecided between going to HD or not. Definitely a more penetrating shot. I guess it depends on what you are looking for in your game? I don't know if HD would give you more...

Left knee clicking but only pain moving for backhands

I've been trying to peruse this forum for what people experience in terms of knee injuries, but couldn't find anything similar to my situation. I play about 3 times a week on a 4.0 level. About a few weeks ago I noticed my left knee would click during the ascent of my squats even without weight...

Curious what the symptoms of a complex tear is like? I've been having knee pain that seems more than just patellar femoral syndrome.

Asics Resolution 7 Lite-Show or wait for 8?

They are doing a great job beating the Asics fanboy out of me. I could've swore when I went from GR4 to 5 and 6 it was maybe 2 years max

Asics Resolution 7 Lite-Show or wait for 8?

Oh man that's good to hear. It feels like it's been 3 years since the last iteration. Feels like they tried to fill the gap with FF.

Asics Resolution 7 Lite-Show or wait for 8?

Saw Gael wearing the new colorway and I'm really digging it. I just am annoyed with the heel lift. Are they ever going to make the 8s?

    Denis Shapovalov to Yonex

No way is Lucas Pouille a very average player. You have to respect these veteran players that are still competing cause they are still that good. I doubt it's his racquet, but certainly a safer racquet may help him.

It's now on the Yonex Website! VCORE Pro EMERALD

I will not look forward to the wait list for demos on all TW. Coming from 16x20 I am curious what will be better for me, the 16 or 18 mains. Just make the top cross optional, Chung style.

It's now on the Yonex Website! VCORE Pro EMERALD

it's a dream come true. I've been holding out getting a new vcore 330 because they increased the stiffness on the last two. Sick color and perfect flex. I'm in love. Goddamnit Stan just got broken as I am typing this.

Nike Air Zoom Zero (summer 18 release)

I wanted to love these shoes so much so that I bought it in my true size and bared the 20 minutes of constricting pain at the start of a session for a month before buying next size up. It was a little better but still tight on the sides. Two months in, the damn lace loop detached from the base...

Nike Air Zoom Zero (summer 18 release)

I have both. Cushioning is better in Zero, but FF cushioning is already good. I think the better cushioning puts you up higher whereas FF is lower to ground. I would say FF and Zero are what I expect from a fast shoe in terms of moderate stability. On a hard cut I can feel the FF sole twist...

Nike Air Zoom Zero (summer 18 release)

I'll give it one more session and if it doesn't loosened up more by then I will buy next size up. Lucky forum member will have a prestretched shoe coming up for sale if it happens. Did you have some bit of roll on lateral cuts?

Nike Air Zoom Zero (summer 18 release)

problem with this shoe is it takes time to loosen up. I thought it would loosen up more as I used it but still quite tight that I get foot pain starting out. It's just quite narrow and I should've went up the full size, but it sucks you have to eat that cost to learn. I will say the cushion is...

Heel pain on hard stops in Asics Resolution 6

Haha. Gel Res is my go to stability shoe. I only went with FF for the cushioning after bruising heel. I'm gonna tough it out with the FF. Obviously I've only had these rare instances a few times in both shoes. I'm just praying for a Res FF.
