    ATP United Cup 2023/24

Well done team GB , I don't think on paper they were seen as winners of the group coming in , Spain were the seeded team

    Round 1: Williams vs. Tan

Yeah because she has been playing on the tour, and has skills that she thinks can win matches , that how it works, I like Serena, but it was really a bit to far to imagine she could have made a comeback here, and I get the hype but it was really getting on my nerves at one point, like she won...

    Round 1: Williams vs. Tan

That was Eastbourne ...she is not entered in the doubles at Wimbledon, in fact I think she would struggle to get an entry unless a really good doubles player took the hit to pair with her

    Round 1: Williams vs. Tan

But she has not played for a year, I know her record an all that, but it rather makes a mockery of the tour if she can turn up that unprepared and win , give the women on the tour some credit, even the unknowns, for participation and moving up the rankings ,( HT was not a wild card in the...

    2022 Mallorca Open

I think he has approached it more sensibly this year, apart from his first year playing there where he was a bit of unknown(3rd) he has rather got caught up in his own hype , he played Queen’s very high profile (dismissed by FAA ,who also was on a hype train of his own at that time) other than...

    Wimbledon 2022 Ladies’s Singles

Simona withdrew from Wimbledon 2021 she was defending champion , so the honor was given to Asn Barty , as the no 1 at the time. Ash Barty , I think has suggested that this year the honor should be given back to Simona after her retirement, but Wimbledon had gone with the precedent of given it to...

    Wimbledon 2022 Gentlemen’s Singles

I don’t agree with the ban Points are being awarded though for the other UK grass court events , the reason being that the Russian players could play elsewhere in these weeks

2022 BOSS Open, Stuttgart (ATP 250)

I read somewhere, could be wrong , that they have abandon the special Wimbledon seeding , and it goes now purely on ranking

Hum maybe there was a reason he decided to play a clay court tournament, points?

2022 SF, ROLAND GARROS: Rafa Nadal(5) vs Alex Zverev(3)

Someone was saying on Twitter that natural surfaces (clay/grass) should not be played under a roof as the humidity alters the surface, and may have been a reason for Zverev injury, ie he didn’t slide, his foot got caught The last time RG was played under the roof was in much cooler conditions...

2022 Roland Garros QF: [3] Alexander Zverev vs Carlos Alcaraz [6]

Knowbody knows that, sorry, there are all sorts stuff being on the tour , the fame, the maybe injuries, I don’t think with Alcaraz anybody dismisses his talent, but in this situation he was slightly overrated ie Zed was being completely dismissed He has just lost to Zed, it was not a sure thing...

2022 Roland Garros QF: [3] Alexander Zverev vs Carlos Alcaraz [6]

I like Alcaraz, and he definitely is a talent, and not a fan of Zed really, but the way everyone was dismissing Zed on that side of the draw, like he was a nobody was really annoying, he has won the WTF and gone deep in slams including a final, Alcaraz has not done any of this yet.

2022 Roland Garros QF: [3] Alexander Zverev vs Carlos Alcaraz [6]

Rome 2022 SF: (4) Stefanos Tsitsipas vs (2) Alexander Zverev

I think if it is within the heat of the day, Tsitsipas will prevail, he prefers these conditions , rather than a late night match

    2022 Italian Open ATP M1000 - Rome: May 8 - 15

I know what you mean, Tsitsipas used to always seem to have an imposing presence on the court , he appears to have shrunk , when I see him play now , hard to explain .

2022 ATP Madrid SF: Novak Djokovic [1] vs Carlos Alcaraz [7]

Well done Carlos, he really is brave and tenacious, what a talent !! My only complaint is now with the women final coming up, how late the second semi will be, considering the final is tom But hey ho, Madrid have always done this

    Round 3: Alcaraz vs Norrie

Hum, he is not a extrovert, I would not say he is unlikeable, he is a classic hard worker who quietly makes the most of his talents, he is not charismatic in personality I agree
