    Professional Glut Coach

I came across this on the net, thought I would share it with you: Diary Of A Travelling Glut Coach By CAPRIOSKA 20 February 2008 Collected from Miami airport feeling a little worse for wear after consuming as much free alcohol as I could en route from LA. The chauffeur who held my card...

    Most durable overgrips

I use Zepah overgrips. They have awesome super tac and last for ages, the darker colours don't get dirty. I don't know if they are available in the USA.

In your experience, do retrievers tend to hit good passing shots?

I used to struggle against the retriever until i changed tactics. I would get them running side to side, didn't go for outright winners but waited till they would be close to full stretch wide on their backhands then got into the net for an easy angled volley into the open court. It gave me...

    Best footwork dvd

We did endure what is by today's standards what you would term cruelty. I was a lucky one though. They choose tennis for me as my physical profile fitted into the tennis category. Some friends that were selected for swimming experienced much worse, it was common for them to be beaten. One...

    Best footwork dvd

I developed good footwork in my junior days back in the old Soviet system. There were some unconventional drills like making us play barefoot in the middle of winter, we did not dare leave our feet on the court for too long in case they froze to the surface.

How does LLeyton Hewitt in his prime stack up against the current top 4?

An amazing match Hewitt played in his prime was Vs Gugga on clay in Brazil in a Davis Cup QF match in 2001. At the time Gugga was unbeatable on clay and on his home court. Hewitt won 7/6. 6/3, 7/6 in an inspirational display.

What happened in the Exo guys? Sorry but we didn't hear about it in Australia.

How does LLeyton Hewitt in his prime stack up against the current top 4?

He would give them a good struggle, I'm sure he would win a fair share of sets but would most times lose to the top guns of today. If I was building the perfect pro tennis player the attributes I would take from Hewitt would be his heart and his lob. He might go close with his return of serve...

Thanks to everyone for posting the videos. IMO this is the greatest thread in the history of tennis forums.

    Yannick Noah, freak success?

Couldn't agree more Bluetrain. The power game of today has taken tennis to another level but it doesn't make for as good viewing as for when guys like Noah, McEnroe and Cash were plying their trade.

    Best player without a G.S

I loved watching Mecir play, he was unique. I couldn't split between him and Phillipousis though, his raw power was a treat to watch live. My 4 favourite layers to watch of all time that did win grand slams singles events were: 1. Pat Cash 2. Yannick Noah 3. Pat Rafter 4. John McEnroe...

Why don't more future players try and make themselves left-handed?

Rod Laver was a lefty. He would have given the total slams a nudge had he not been banned for some many years.

    Best slice backhand ever?

No one comes close to Rosewall, he owns the backhand slice.

Calling All Users of Tecnifibre Racquets - What Overgrip Do You Use?

I'm not sure why the brand of racquet would make a difference to what overgrip you would use. Perhaps you are more concerned with the original Technifibre grip? Anyway I use Zepah overgrips, they have great tac and last for ages, I don't think you can get them in the US though.

    Tell me about Ken Rosewall?

I had the wonderful pleasure of playing against Ken Rosewall about 5 years ago in a pro am. Of all the ex pros there, Darren Cahill, Wally Massur, Kim Warwick, Mark Edmondston, Rod Frawley, Alan Stone, John Alexander, it was Ken Rosewall who gave me the greatest trouble. He just seemed to...

Federer's decline shall commence in no longer then 2 years from today's date...

Perhaps you might want to consider taking a break long enough from your Agassi worshipping to sit back and enjoy the way that Federer plays? Why do you want to try and discredit him? Is it because he beat your idol so many times? He also beat mine but I can still admire Federer's awesome game...

How do you improve your FOCUS?

Todd Martin used to do mental exercises to improve his focus. He would memorise groups of numbers he wrote on one page then turn over and try to write them down again. Start with a small group then build you way up as your memory and focus improves. www.tonicconnective.com/wackers

The first stroke to go with aging?

Well I am an aging Barrel with wood rot. I play a high level but have recently noticed my top spin backhand is going, it's due to rotator cuff pain when I hit the ball, I find I am now sllcing my backhand more than ever. I played under lights last night and for the first time ever the balls...

Who won the exhibition match between Luczak and Chela?

Yeah, it was a match that Australia were never going to win no matter who Argentina selected. They are very strong at the moment and congratulations to them for reaching their first final in 25 years since back in the days of Vilas. http://www.tonicconnective.com/wackers

How to handle balls close to you

Due to a lack of mobility being part barrel, I have perfected this shot, I also never retreat from the baseline and I love nothing more than hitting a half volley winner from there. Agassi was a master at this shot. http://www.tonicconnective.com/wackers

Connors lives in a dream world

Jimmy Connors had an amazing will to win on the court, if he manages to transfer that to A.R. then I believe Roddick has the talent to win a couple against Federer. http://www.tonicconnective.com/wackers
