I think the best surface for servebots is Clay. The fact that they never win on clay has nothing to do with it. It's just because they are always out of shape during RG. ;)
Yep, and their roof is one of the best I've ever seen. It manages to close in something like 15 secondes, while in Wimbledon you need to wait for 10 minutes.
It's exactly the opposite... It's the only big tournamenet playing indoors. And you want to change it because Nadal can't make it...
What would you have told Fed fans in 08 saying "RG needs to be played on grass to mean anything in the GOAT debate", stupid right?
Actually, if Halle had been a M1000, I think Roger would have won it already 10 or 11 times. He skipped it in 2009 to rest, and he tanked 2 or 3 times when he felt he was a bit tired. He wouldn't have done that if it was a 1000.
Hello,
Does someone know if Andy Murray will be seeded at Wimbledon.
His ATP ranking makes him eligible to go through the qualifications (he'll get a WC of course), but then, is he eligible to be seeded, since the seeding system at Wimbledon will earn him 75% of the 2000 points for his 2016 win?
The most important point is not the speed of the court on clay.
It's the bounce. Roger is hitting his shots so early, that he will miss a lot of shots, due to the random bounce, touching the ball with the frame of the racquet, like he used to much more with the 90 on the BH side.
A lot of tennis fans do not like to watch Rafa's style of play. I can't stand his manner on court, and I don't like his style of play.
But a lot of girl here just like to watch him because of his looks.
I was desperate at 3-1, and even more after all those wasted BP. But then it was the greatest tennis moment I'll ever live.
I have watched this 5th like ten times, I'm still so emotional about it each time.
Why do people think going to Dubai has anything to do with going to RG??
There is 2 months between the end of Miami and the start of RG. It's enough for a real break, even if he wants to enter RG. He's defnitely not playing Dubai, and will try to defend both sunshine double masters.
Federer is the player of the 00s.
For the 10s, it's a three-way decade with the big 3. (5 GS for Fed, 9 for Nadal, 11 for Djokovic)
Let's wait till the end of the decade, but chosing one of these 3 to have been the dominant the 10s is wrong.
Because MC is not a mandatory event.
Federer's 18 is 8 M1000, 4 GS, Halle, Stuttgart, Basel, Dubai, Rotterdam and WTF.
Djokovic's 15 is 8 M1000, 4GS, and 3 small tournamenets he played.
I don't agree with this. I think he should play for a last run at the French when he still can go deep.
When in his last year, he shouldn ot play for play, especially clay, and go for one last title instead of a 2R farewall GS.
If he does play a M1000 on clay, it will be Rome, it's the best prep for RG.
But if he's playing clay, I think he would play only RG.
And if fact, I believe he won't play clay anyway.
