Long time UC player. Recently I tried a bunch of different strings when my reel was coming to an end: tour bite, tour bite soft, hyper-g, hyper-g soft, cyclone tour, yonex polytour rev... You'r right I was focused on the crosses but when I pulled the strings apart, I am seeing some mild notching on the UC mains.

After additional 20hrs of use. Forten and UC still intact. No signs of wear. Still happy with playing properties. Also, not sure if it’s due to the setup but my serve has been huge (relative to past serves) during this test.

Hi, I just tested a whole lineup of polys and have decided to get a reel of ultra cable. Do you know a good syngut that would complement this string? Something that will let the mains move freely and won’t get cut up by ultra cable’s shape edges? Preferably yellow. Ty

@TW Staff Perhaps its time to include a "grip fit" line on racquet pages the way you do on shoe pages. Or some kind of disclaimer about the 1/8 margin of error. The return of my phantom was international and quite costly.
