    Volkl Organix 9 Super G

I was skeptical about the 18x20 pattern but it hasn't really been noticable in terms of spin production. It hits a mean ball - beautifully solid feel and gives lovely pace of the centre of the bat. Still prefer the X9 probably cause I've used it a lot more, but the X9SG certainly has the...

    Tournagrip or Wilson Pro Overgrip

I've been a V-Tac user for a long time, so have the V-Dry a crack on a really hot day and was impressed. I got that slippery feel with the v-tac & Wilson pro, and it just kept staying dry. Even drenched my head in water, and it just seemed to suck all the moisture and sweat in. Not a big fan...

    Alternative to lead tape

The Organix 8 is already pretty dampened, so hard to say but usually more weight will dampen vibrations. It certainly made for a smoother ride and more power which is what I was after.

    Alternative to lead tape

I came across this at my local pro shop. It's lead free and is made mainly of iron or something like that. Weighed up the package and it is 18g and pre cut into different sizes. I've got other pics on my phone but can't upload the buggers.

No need to stretch poly it shouldn't be practiced.

    Volkl QC

Quality control is much better than any other big brand. I weighed 12 Organix 9's and the variance between them was 4 grams. That's a wet dream for Wilson, Bab and Head users. For those going off TW strung specs, remember the weight of strings (multi v poly esp.) can be 5-7 grams difference...

Spin - Is there an undisputed champ?

The truth - technique is the biggest factor in determining spin, if you can't rip up the back of the ball then no string will help you. In saying that full poly & Gut Main/poly cross setups will generally help produce spin more easily than other set ups. The easier the mains snap back into...

    Graphenes Are Cracking

Graphene is supposed to be used in the thoat to increase strength, and allowing the distribution of weight to the ends of the racquet. Where those photos show the cracks through the shared holes, they are just defective sticks.

    Luxilon: My odd experience.

Just because your a 5.0 player doesn't mean you are a stringbreaker.. It's about how much top spin you generate and some guys higher than that hit flat and rarely break strings. I've heard that about Alu before, and know a few guys who love it just before it breaks on them.

    So will the 2014 Prestige...

The new Graphene Prestige (& Radicals) will both be different racquet models just like the Speeds were a complete new racquets. The big spiel with the Graphene is taking weight out of the middle of the racquet and polarizing them essentially creating a new stick. They will also be more mute...

why is it bad to use full Lux?

It's not bad. All polys are a stiff strings that suit a certain type of player. Strung properly they are great for the player after great control and spin.

SPPP18 Hybrd with Head Syn Gut PPS?

Why do you say PPS is not best? Only ask cause I strung hundreds of hybrids with this as a cross for customers and never had one complaint - in fact people prefer it over PSGD as it allows the mains to move more freely. Even got a futures player using Alu Power mains & PPS cross and he's...

    Wilson rush pro

The mid foot is really narrow, and it absolutely killed my foot. I lasted 15-20 mins during a practice session before I had to rip them off & go to the Big Shots. They feel great when you put them on but really hurt me after a very short period. Such a shame cause I loved the look of them.

I use M2 Pro and it is unbelievable fresh, and I still love it all the way until it breaks. It has been my favourite string of all time and I haven't found anything close.

    Clay Court Shoes

Always used Big Shots on Clay which have been good, but the Prestige Pro Clay & Wilson Rush Pro clay are outstanding. Haven't have the Wilson's a good match day run yet but they feel very comfortable and excellent traction.

The 4G Review Everyone Seems Afraid to Write?

I really dont mind 4G 125 in my Organix 9. The control aspect was what I liked, and loved when I move in for a short shot, I could rip the ball and I had a lot of control. Is it better than M2 Pro or Alu - nope not even close and I don't know if I'll try it again. Other guys I've strung it...

    Adidas Barricade 8s in 2013

Seen the shoes in person and they look quite good. We are getting 2 colour ways here - mainly black with white, silver & red, and then a mainly white with red & black trims. Don't look too bad. The new red & blue feathers look great too.

Head Speed Graphene and Instinct Pictures

The buy price is ridiculous, I know a few guys were very cautious about being able to sell it at that price. It will probably settle at 280 and even then that's a tight margin once GST is taken into consideration.

Why do pros use tweener rackets?

There is a lot of bull$hit on here. There is no set racquet type, weight or balance to make everything work. You need to find what suits your level (and being honest about that is so important) and then practice like a mofo. Look at the 2 best players at the moment - Nadal with an Aero &...
